VaVoom Room

The VaVoom Room Bar is the newest bar in Townsville and the only Burlesque Bar in Australia. Each Sultry Saturday they have a array of amazing local talent perform everything from Burlesque routines to the knife juggling bearded lady to the local belly dancing troupe. No two shows are the same and you never know what or who to expect. It's a guaranteed great evening out and I would highly recommend it to anyone as the VaVoom Room Bar prides itself on being a safe space so everyone is made to feel welcome and everyone is included. They have an impressive range of cocktails and shots and they also have frozen margaritas. Friday afternoon is the beginning of the weekly wind down, doors open at 5pm and there isn't a cover charge. I have always enjoyed going to watch the VaVoom Room performances and seeing them thrive in their own venue has been a pleasure to watch. ☆☆☆☆☆

Great night at VaVoom Room last Friday, fun night of trivia made even better with exception cocktails(Midnight Fling) and shots. Definitely will be back again.

Great room and vibe. I felt very welcome and safe. Staff are lovely and very friendly. Cocktails aren't cheap but they are really yummy. Highly recommend.

Had a really entertaining night with the trivia. I highly recommend the Heywood Ja Sazerac cocktail. Will definitely check out the next one.

Went to trivia where the host got the answer to every question wrong, and at the end they were overheard saying that the group that won had helped them write the questions. Some real low level fraud going on a Vavoom.

It was my first night out in Townsville. This place was fantastic. Nothing but fun and laughter. A very safe place to let your hair down. To the staff behind the bar. Absolutely love your enthusiasm and energy. To the entertainment I have no voice today. Thanks for getting the entire room yelling and screaming.
