Good selection of food & other things you might need around the house, basically a little Oasis in a not so interesting town.The prices are great & chances are something you want is on sale; cashier's are sometimes distant but always put a smile on their face and treat you with respect if you reciprocate.Just outside is a chemist, butcher, bakery, take away, coffee shop, odds & ends shop & a take away shop (which is a little bit pricey but I suppose you gotta make money)Excellent Foodland.

Worst Romeo's in SA by far. Poor quality fruit and veg, no staff, the seafood display is abysmal. No longer our go to store. Upgrade it to something we locals can be proud of, or let another operator in and deliver a decent experience.

Poor checkout experience. Staff member did not see markdown even when prompted at checkout. When I returned for refund (after checking goods with receipt I was blamed for error. When I asked for some sort of apology for my inconvenience in having to return to store the staff member said she'd acknowledged her error and didn't need to apologise.

was served by a lovely girl called hannah this evening. She helped me with selecting what to prepare for dinner with my family and we decided on the chicken giblets and roast veggies (which tasted amazing). All staff were so friendly and always happy to assist with any queries. I definitely recommend coming here for some great deals and excellent customer service!

In general it's an OK store in terms of range though far too many times I have bought fresh produce only to get home to find it rotten. In this economic climate I don't want to risk wasting more cash on rotten produce. This is unacceptable for any grocery store let alone one so close to the hills.

I was served by a beautiful attractive lady named thalia, she served me then walked me to my car to make sure I was safe then drove me home then cooked me dinner and payed for my rent for me!!! Definitely worth coming here!

The worst customer service I have ever received. They charged me twice and would not refund, claiming it was the fault of my bank. After four attempts to reconcile with the management team, they still refused to refund me and directed me to my bank. Out of good faith my bank refunded me. Foodland still have my money twice. Appalling attitude from staff, telling lies and being sarcastic. I will never return.
