I called up heaps of stores to find sold out Drunk Elephant bronzing drops. When I called the valley store, Rose was by far the most helpful worker in most of the brisbane. stores. She gave such good advice, wasn’t rude, and put me on a wait list. The next day she was kind enough to give me a call me back and tell me they were in stock. I now have them, thanks rose!! ☺️

Yesterday I had Finn do my Mecca natural makeup appointment and I couldn’t thank him enough. From the beginning he was so lovely, always checking in and asking if what he was using was ok. I loved how thorough he was not just with the makeup but also the skincare, he really made sure my skin was prepped and hydrated and it felt amazing. He was super helpful and accommodating, educating me on products that he was using as well. The final makeup was just to die for and lasted all day, the overall service was amazing and I will definitely be back! Definitely recommend requesting Finn for your makeup appointment!!

Best experience.I had Georgie for my facial today and she made me feel so incredibly welcome. I had a lot of questions that were silly in my eyes but she answered them without making me feel dumb. She sent me off with my 'Skincare Prescription', giving me many recommendation and alternative brands to choose from.

I visited Mecca this afternoon feeling frustrated about my foundation not lasting despite spending a lot of money on it over the years. In a stroke of luck, it was Finn who approached me and offered his help. I came in looking for a color match for double wear and shared my frustration with him. Finn was the most helpful staff member I've ever encountered in my decade-long shopping experience at various Meccas. He took the time to examine my skin and explained that it wasn't the foundation I had chosen, but rather my dry skin that was causing my makeup to wear off during the day. He recommended hydrating products to improve my skin and prolong my makeup's longevity. He even gave me some tips on how to apply my makeup. I can't thank him enough for his knowledge and patience. While other staff members have suggested different primers, foundations, or setting sprays, Finn was the only one who has taken the time to address the root cause rather than selling me products, which led me to happily spending more than I had planned. I believe he would make an excellent staff trainer, and I hope his superiors recognise his exceptional talent and customer interaction skills.

I was literally ignored by 2 separate sales assistants and eyes rolled at by a 3rd who eventually came over to the counter to serve me. One of the two assistants who ignored me was literally standing and talking to a customer who was already being served. But she was buying a lot more than me so I guess they know where their priorities lie.

I booked my makeup at Mecca Cosmetica Fortitude Valley and walked away extremely happy. From the moment I walked into the store, the team greeted me and made me comfortable while I waited for my makeup artist. The lovely Anissa did my makeup and I was super happy with her work. Not only did she listen to what I wanted, but she suggested things to enhance my ideas and was great fun to talk to! Loved her energy and vibe. P.s - makeup lasted all day and night for a wedding! Would definitely come back. Thank you!

I always get my CDG and Malin+Goetz perfume from Mecca Cosmetica in James st because that particular brands is hard to find. Their customer service always amazing. Today I went to get another bottle of CDG perfume and this young lady Anissa was very helpful & attentive. She even wrote which scents I’ve tried on because I sprayed few testers :) Thanks again Anissa for your excellent customer service.

Such a wonderful team at Mecca Maxima on James Street! The staff are such a caring and knowledgeable bunch. I was lucky enough to meet the lovely Anissa who gave me so much of her time and helped me with my skin care routine. Not to mention they made sure my little 6 month old Golden Retriever had a bowl of water waiting for him as we left :)Thanks so much team!

Lovely location with a decent range of brands/products. Sam was super helpful in helping me find a moisturizer and walked me around the store to show me my best options, so lovely!
