Will and his team members were friendly and helpful.Also on a side note, as it was my first time visiting I didn’t have any ID on me. Not only the team members waited 20 mins for me; I was greeted and assisted twice with the same enthusiasm. Consistency is rare in customer service industry especially when you visit a store twice in an interval of 30mins.

This branch buys much higher for retro video game items, so it's worth checking out multiple Cashies if you can. One branch can buy your item for $3 while another branch can buy the same item for $15. If you find your product is valued higher in another branch, they are happy to match that price.I think it depends on the expertise of the staff valuing your item and Michael from Elizabeth St is genuinely knowledgeable, specially when it comes to electronics and gaming.All staff have been friendly and accommodating in the 4 Cashies I've visited within my vicinity. Elizabeth St branch is also the largest with the most selection of items.Cheers!

A pathetic shop with pathetic people. Every single time I go to sell anything over there, they either offer a ridiculously low price or just say due to low demand we can’t buy them. Their website or policy does not state anything as suchEven after I told them that I cannot see any of the item I wanted to sell in their store the lady at the counter says that they have many at the back.Just simply state on your website what you can buy and what you can’t

Friendly and knowledgeable staff with a wide variety of products, worth checking out for any camera people, musicians, video game hobbyists & tech enthusiasts. Standard competitive cash converters prices, but you’ll find the odd deal amongst things if you know what you’re looking for.

Okay, just to let everyone know this place is just a cesspool, I'm sorry to say but the staff are just rude, prices are crazy, if try and get a refund good luck. This place is a joke..Best bet is to buy it new, u get a warranty and piece of mind... RIP

This was my first time dealing with a cash converters store - and it was horrible. When I decided to go to another store who quoted a higher value for my new condition designer item the manager told me she would call the other store 'so I didn't waste my time trying to get a higher amount'. She seemed upset I did not want to sell my item even though it is my right as an informed customer to go elsewhere. Doug was pleasant to deal with - his manager should take a note or two. P.S. I totally recommend visiting Maddy at the South Melbourne store instead as I ended up getting the amount I wanted for the item and was treated with respect :)

Absolute waste of time.I took in two collectable coins from the Royal Australian Mint (the Perth Mint where all Australian coins are made). I was hoping to borrow some money against them.I believe these coins originally retailed for about $100 and $80 and were still in their original packaging with certificates of authenticity etc.They didn't even look at them and just said We don't deal with them because we don't have the space in our storeroom".(Of course this makes no sense so there must be a different reason and they just bullsh*ed me to get me out of the store. I mean

Don't know what these guys are smoking. Prices on everything seem 5 - 10 years out of date. 50 dollars for obscure psp games?! What in the world.

Bought a game console package here and found out pretty quickly that 2 of the buttons on the included controller weren’t registering at all (i.e., were broken). Rang up and was told no worries they would sort it just bring the controller back. Drove 2 hours to the store and was then told sorry they couldn’t replace the controller or do a partial refund, I’d have to return the console as well if I wanted a refund (which so far is working and then I wouldn’t have a console??). Was also told that it was tested and working before it was sold and that because I’d been observed pushing all the buttons when I bought it that that somehow indicated it was working properly. Would have been so easy to rectify this with a partial refund or by liaising with another store that had spare controllers. Not good enough.

From a buyer’s perspective this is by far the nicest cashies I’ve been to. Wide variety of products with good products, and the staff are willing to answer questions and let you test things before you buy them.
