The Coffee Barun Espresso Bar

Coffee is great and friendly staff.. but I got fried eggs on toast and this is literally how my eggs were served on my plate… texture of chalk. Clearly the over cooked yolk has fallen out and they’ve thrown it back on the white before serving. Also had a side of avocado that was 80% brown.I paid $20 for this…Sucks because I have heard good things about this place but left scratching my head.

The service is fantastic, food - fresh, vibrant, delicious, healthy. Every dish I saw looked absolutely amazing and I wish I could have 1 of everything on the menu. Coffee - perfect. Décor adorable.

Friendly atmosphere, staff all gracious and friendly.The food is great and the coffee ☕ was amazing, I can honestly say some of the best coffee I have had.This will become my local coffee shop.

Have been here a few times and each time nice but today was not good. It was not busy but coffee was luke warm and had to ask twice for rest of order.

The breakfast was flawlessly prepared, and the coffee was an excellent complement. The only aspect I didn't find appealing was the hasbrown—it had a tangy or zesty flavor that didn't suit my taste.

First time stop in this morning, greeted with a smile and friendly service. Avacado smash with poached eggs were delicious and coffee uniquely tasty. Also received some helpful info on coffee presses and beans. Will definitely be back

I arrived there at around lunch time. I walked in and asked them for a seat, the staff who was making coffee told me I can take a seat and she will bring me the menu. So I chose a table and waited them for 15 minutes and no one came to bring me the menu or even asked me if I needed to order anything. So I went back to the front and asked for a menu. I told them what happened and the other staff apologised for it.I noticed that they didn't even wipe the tables in between customers. I had to ask them to wipe the table for me.When I was ordering food, they told me the fridge was not working so they didn't have anything available in the lunch menu. So I ordered a brekky roll with the immunity juice. The juice was tasty and refreshing, and the roll was OK. My friend ordered a coffee.The indoor siting is limited, there are a few tables next door in a workshop, but the noise was very big sometimes during our time there.

This mini-Barun is a perfect snack sized version of the Coffee Barun on Main North Road. Bringing the same high quality coffee and hot drinks range, and a smaller but still tasty food menu, the Barun Espresso Bar is well needed in the northern suburbs where great coffee and great cafe's are still fairly rare!

Coffee tastes good, but their cup sizes are off. I just ordered a Large takeaway latte, but was given a regular/medium coffee. I've noticed a lot of cafes are doing this. It's very poor form. Probably won't go back now.Photo of coffee attached...I have small Asian hands.
