As a new yacht owner (36ft steel ketch) from FNQ, I was recommended this business from a local chandlery. Knowing nobody is Brisbane I made the call. John was a revelation. He examined the tasks that I required, then explained thoroughly his plans and most importantly the why in language that I understood. The quote was prompt, and reasonable in time and costs. Most importantly the skills were there to be able to address or have access to the contractors that addressed all my requirements. The work was completed in a timely manner and within the quoted amount and then left the yacht in tiptop condition. Furthermore, two days before departure when I was provisioning the yacht, in a moment of inattention I broke my leg. John stepped in and was able to liaise with the crew and organised everything on my behalf so that the boat could still leave as planned with the crew. I can never thank John enough for his assistance with the boat electrical and mechanical refit, and for all the extra advice and service. John was able to fit me in for a major upgrade of my yacht electrics, and installation of a Victron inverter, battery management and monitoring systems for lithium batteries. His advice was very good, and he communicated well during the install. The work was tidy and I now have a power system which is awesome. Thanks!
