Bellerive Beach Playground

Definitely one of the best playgrounds we’ve been to in Tasmania!The entire thing is gated and right next to a beautiful beach. There are BBQs and benches as well as a toilet block just down a shared pathway which is just beyond the outdoor exercise area.Sensory play is designed throughout the playground so there’s a musical bridge. There’s a water in dam area and a sandpit. There’s another sand excavation area. There’s natural materials to climb on in an intentional way.There’s a three story adventure play gym, which includes a suspended bridge with various slides and activities along the way up. There is also an imagination play area of a boat with a parrot, all under the shade. Even the way the swings are designed, feels a lot safer as they’re in their own section.Overall a wonderful park! We are staying on the other side of the river, but made a point to come out to this playground and definitely happy that we made that choice.

One of the best playgrounds we discovered in the Greater Hobart Region while on holiday in Tasmania. We kept coming back here as our kids (1 and 4) absolutely LOVED it! We came in July (winter) so it was also nice and quiet. We aren't afraid of the cold! Note: 2nd photo is from Moduplay"

Kids absolutely love the height of the structure and slide and variety of the Bellerive park. Well enclosed and a great view and proximity to the beach and cafe. Parking is good also.
