Good spot, close to the water but staying here was unsafe. No privacy. People walked through camping spots everyday without saying sorry because they are lazy and arrogant + there are no designated pathways to the lake/bathroom. Oh, and we got a powered site without waterpipe .. PINcode to the bathroom would be better instead of key.

This caravan park is one of the best for comfort, facilities and cleanliness. Spacious sites, close to the ocean and lake with plenty of walks and rides. Highly recommend. I don’t mind paying for quality

A great spot on the edge of Shaw's bay. Easy walk to the ocean beach.Only negative for the area of Ballina is the city beaches are not dog friendly even on lead.

We are in 2 bedroom cabin. It's got a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed's and good shower. Perfect escape for a family.Great kids activities and lovely pool area.Whole place is immaculate. Close to town and beaches. Kids don't want to leave.

Honestly one of the top spots in Ballina. I travel for work and this is now my preference when staying in Ballina. Wendy at reception was amazing. The location is great, the views at next level. It's safe, secure, kid friendly heaps of things to do. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Will stay again stay classy Discovery Parks Ballina!

The sites are a little on the small size compared to other parks, the amenities are old but very well maintained. In the first few minutes of setting up our motorhome one of the park guests told us we would need to lock things up during the night as they experienced a group of youths wearing balaclavas rifling through their belongs the night before.

I stayed here just last week while on holiday. It was in a very good, suitable location, away from the main roads and close to the water and everything. The unit that we stayed in was quite spacious, yet I thought that the cupboard doors and the colour scheme of the walls were a bit of a timely reminder as to how highlighted interior design was in the late 90's. It seemed to be quite Mexican-influenced as I know that a lot of their interior design consists of the same colours.
