Out of all the piano teachers I have learnt under (over 10!)I have to say that Carlson is the best! He makes learning the piano easy and fun୧( ̮ )୨✧Sometimes it is hard work

Carlson has been teaching my sons piano for a few years now. They had previously been taught by another teacher but both have stated that they much prefer Carlson's teaching style. He tailors his lessons to each student, by finding music that matches their interests to help build their enjoyment. In my son's case - music from the anime they like to watch. He is very committed to his students, demonstrated by organising end of year concerts (at his own cost) and fostering a sense of community by organising secret santa. A gifted musician himself, it is his dedication to improving his pedagogy that makes him a great teacher. I great musician is not always a great music teacher.

Liam instantly formed a rapport with Carlson and thoroughly began to enjoy his piano lessons. Carlson is warm, friendly, personable and always professional. Liam has grown and developed so much as a pianist under Carlson and has a greater appreciation of the arts.

playing piano was always quite a hidden and not-taken-seriously, but passionate, hobby of mine, so our lessons weren’t your ‘average’ lessons and were made sure to be tailored to how and what I wanted to learn (all the important theories and techniques, but also the cool classical, pop and anime songs I wanted to learn). Carlson is highly knowledgeable and passionate about music, creating a great experience for you to learn.

My daughter Gia met Carlson when she was in year six. Gia bonded with Carlson really quickly and started enjoying playing piano again. She played for many years and stopped after Covid, it’s really good to see her play again. Carlton has good understanding of student’s needs, no matter kids or adults, it is amazing he can teach in such varied range and methods. He always gives written feedback immediately after the lesson which is really helpful too! He is the best piano teacher we had.

Carlson is a great piano teacher, he encouraged me every lesson to learn no matter how hard it was and wanted to always make sure that I enjoyed the music I learnt. Definitely for all ages as he can cater to your preferences!

My 6-year-old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Carlson for almost one year! Carlson is experienced in teaching young children. His teaching method is thorough and instructive. And he always builds a positive and nurturing environment for children to learn the piano. After one year’s learning, my daughter has developed a great passion for learning how to play the piano.
