Armadale Senior High School

A change in leadership is needed. The principal is not well liked or respected and the deputies do their best but there is no structure or guidance. We get mixed messges about behaviour and then punishment seems random and unfair. And there are bigger problems than the uniform! God, who cares if a cold student has an orange jumper under his shirt? You do know this is a poor area and you humiliate us when you drag us out of class and force us to wear the school's shared alternative right? Especially when the principal herself dresses the way she does.We have some great teachers but also some who need to retire and go on a cruise and find inner peace. I've been lucky to have good teachers but my younger friends and cousins aren't so lucky. Make Mr Vale the principal and you'll solve half the problems overnight!

It teaches you a lot but yes there is a couple of fights Evey now and then but still I walk there everyday it's not bad at all I get to see my friends everyday for 6 hours

Dedicated staff doing a lot to help students learn while being at the tip of the spear with regards to behaviour management

Thanks to ALL staff, including canteen ladies, who really care about our children and strive to teach them well and make it enjoyable. Things wont always be rosie but the open communication between parents and teachers has been fantastic and supportives so far.

A lot of bullying that falls on deaf ears. Seems like they are more for uniform dress code then dealing with bullies. General standard answer is nothing will happen then something happens.

This school has no reprocussions for students at all. You get bullied in class and you go up the deputy to report and ask for help, then he asks why are you out of class. Then says you should look in the mirror and blames it all on you. Head of Student Services says that their are going to be consequences given out when someone breaks that warning, there's no consequences given out even though they said they would. So not the best school.

This school need to concentrate a little more on teaching their students instead of pulling them out of classes for the day for wearing last years school uniform shorts instead of this years skirts. Headmaster can maybe think about her own clothing choices too.

I know this school has its problems, but I loved working there. The staff really do care about the students and do the best with what they have.It's a tough environment, and the teachers who stay do so not because it is easy, but because they believe in the kids' potential and want to make a difference. There are plenty of schools in Perth, but they choose to work at Armadale. Think about that.I only left because I moved north, but I miss my wonderfully supportive colleagues, the beautiful admin staff, and every single one of the amazing, unique individuals I had the pleasure of teaching - yes, even year 8. ;-)

Too much bullying its at the point where people will need to move because of it...Needs better system to deal with alot of things...Mr mean is the best math teacher!Library is great!Some students say they're crazy......Rumours ARE not nice and are not going anywhere fast to stop...But i like this schoolThank you and BuhByyyee

they lock the toilet doors for most of the school day. i'm pretty sure this is against the law.
