Very knowledgeable and happy to take the time to help you find and set up the right bike. They seem to care much more about getting you on the right bike than about making a quick profit (they organised a second hand bike for me to buy directly from the owner).In terms of stock they have a lot of really nice equipment, no cheap rattlers.Their children's bikes are much nicer than what you find in your average bike store, my 6 year old commented that her new bike is 'much easier to ride'.

Recently arrived in Bairnsdale for a day of riding only to find one of our kids bike had un-noticed damage to the derailleur hanger - from a previous stack.The shop was closed but the guys in store were busy working on bike builds. I pleaded our situation, so they thankfully opened for us, going out of their way to fix our damage and got us back on the road. Very accommodating and certainly saved us from having a wasted day.Great service.

So Dan and his young colleagues have been a breath of fresh air for the local cycling community. Bunchie Rides, Four Rascals coffee, catering for all abilities and interests. Best of all great customer support, trustworthy advice and service. The shop is aligned with the Specialized brand and the range is amazing. That said, Dan will work on, service and fix anything that has wheels. I can't speak highly enough of this store and the way they give back to local riders and encourage the next wave. I intend on shopping here for many years to come. Get behind these guys! Thank you to the B'Dale Bike team.#RideOn

What a great experience dealing with Dan and the team at Bairnsdale Bikes.Friendly, very helpful and very efficient.Tom was meticulous in making final adjustments on Billie and my bikes.They go the extra ‘mile’ to get things right. Fully recommend doing business with these guys.

By far the best bike shop I've been to in a long time. I had a custom bike built and they kept me up to date through the whole process as to how it was coming along with photos and were very helpful with advice on parts and spec options. Couldn't have had a better experience!!

Excellent bike shop - Dan and Reed helped me and a friend fix up our bikes for the last leg of our ride from Sydney to Melbourne. They were welcoming and Generous, offering advice and guidance on how to best fix the busted spokes on my bike - even better they made us coffees and a gave the bikes a high pressure hose to get the dirt off after completing the east Gippsland rail trail.

Opening hours during January should be updated on your website/Google .We drove from Metung to source a tyre tube only to find the store closed! In fact, every bike store in Bairnsdale was closed Saturday.

Not just a great shop, but also the unofficial hub/cafe of the cycling and mountain biking community in Bairnsdale. You'll usually find locals hanging out here having a coffee and a good chat even when they aren't shopping, which is testament to the relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The staff always have time for you, know their stuff and give great personalised service without ever being pushy (pun definitely intended)...

Went to buy a bike, thinking I’d be waiting months under current COVID-19 circumstances. To my surprise the bike I wanted was available and I bought it on the spot. Exceptional service from the team to provide advice, choose the right bike and get me on the road. Thanks, guys!!! Love the Chisel!
