Windang Island Wheels
Never having heard of this place I was puzzled by the name until I saw the actual wheels in the actual surf on the actual beach. Who knew? It was a random place to go during some downtime and it will be on my list of places to go and visit again.

Great place to catch the sunrise when in Wollongong and these rusty old rail wheels add to the experience.

Had visited here during impromptu night trip 2 years ago. Today visited during day time. Amazing vibes and relaxing feel away from the city.

Wow, amazing that these wheels are here! There are two sets located not far from each other. I don't know the history behind the wheels but imagine they are from the same vehicle that got grounded on the rocks/sand. They make for wonderful photos, even if you're using just a phone camera to do so. When we walked back down to Warilla Beach, we saw several kite surfers who were super fun to watch.

Quite an adorable spot for visiting. We walked along the beach and reached a rocky flat on a hill where you can see the sea on both sides of the trail.
