Home and Lawn Care by Design

Took a refundable deposit of $500 and never got back to me. I was referred to OH&S by my pool company (Leisure Pools) and we had initial conversations about a temporary pool cover during construction phase. I wasn't happy with the quote provided but still went ahead owing to the existing relationship with pool company. I was told the deposit is to hold the current price and was refundable. I got another quote from a different company and got back to Agim asking if it could be price matched. Agim declined and said I could go with the other company, which I did. And this is where trouble started. I tried many times to get in touch to get my refund but as soon as I talked about it or texted about it there was radio silence. I even tried to approach him via the pool company but no luck there as well.Very poor experience. Not professional at all. Misled me with the quote promising it to be the cheapest in the market whereas the very next one I got just by googling was 40% cheaper. And a well established company.I'd think twice before availing his service again.Update post Agim's response:Hi Agim, few inconsistencies in your narrative. I am getting the pool done outside of my building contract, the pool cover I found out (as mentioned in my earlier review) was by my own deed, nothing to do with the home builder. Also you were recommended by my pool company, with whom I believe you have a good relationship. So not sure where the home builder part is coming from. And the revision to your earlier quote was due to the pandemic delays, which I completely stood by. My request to you was to match the other official quote I had from the company I went with, to which you mentioned you couldn't and you would be happy to refund. If at stage you said it was non refundable, I would have no issues at all. I literally came back to you the next day after paying the deposit (within 24 hours). And I paid the deposit with the good intention of going ahead with you, no reason I have to otherwise. It's a shame you are mentioning about the raw materials procurement within such short notice now and not in our phone calls or messages (which by the way you still haven't responded to). I leave my review based on my personal experience. Took the time to really give you the chance to work it out but it wasn't to be.You can call me dishonest or whatever name calling you want to resort to, that's your prerogative. Your customers can make their judgement, it's not my responsibility, rather yours. I'm going to leave it at that.

We can't thank Agim and Rachel enough. They did an absolutely amazing job with our landscaping and were the most friendliest and approachable people. It was easy to work with them and we are absolutely chuffed with the results. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking toget their landscaping done.

Very responsive & great landscaping at our new-build home. We felt like we were in safe hands throughout the process - even when their team hit a few snags along the way, Agim and Rachel dealt with these swiftly and calmly and put us at our ease. Simply love what they have done and would definitely recommend them to others.

We are very happy & excited with work done in our backyard by Home and Lawn care by Design. It took a while but definately worth the wait, really amazing job. We loved watching the video with before & after shots. I will recommend them any time.

I cannot speak highly enough of Agim and the work he had done on our yard. He came with excellent ideas and worked non stop until it was done to the highest standard. He also undertook some challenging extra work and did it perfectly. I have already recommended Home and Lawn Care by Design to several of my colleagues. Agim and his team were fantastic in helping us plan and design our dream backyard. Agim is a visionary and was able to put his plan into action and deliver his vision. He is meticulous with the finer details which has a huge impact on the overall result. He came up with some great suggestions for some dead space we had and created a mini putt putt course for the kids. He was always open to suggestions and he made many things possible for us. A true professional. He did not stop until he was completely satisfied with the job!We are looking forward to working with him in the future.
