Skylight Energy was referred to me by my brother-in-law after he was satisfied with the installation of his new 6.6KW Risen (21 panels) solar system. I went ahead with the same, and installation was carried out today. The installation team of four arrived an hour early than expected, and they carried out their work smoothly, with no incidence (we have two stories), and not one broken tile. They were friendly, quick and efficient, and went about their work professionally. In the admin office, their staff were courteous, responsive, and helpful. We are, indeed, very happy.

Skylight Energy is the company to look for! You will not be disappointed, they are an Australian based company that provide the services you are looking for. I just recently got solar installed in my home, the installers cleaned up after themselves and answered all my questions. The results I was left with were amazing. Thank you so much to the Skylight Energy team, I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you again.

After sales/ warranty care is absolutely rubbish. It took more than a month for them to send in application to Ausgrid after install, system shutting down on sunny days and took dozen of calls to get them to send someone to rectify issue. During this time didn’t bother to call and keep me informed kept on hold when I asked for a manager.If you go with these guys, pray your system will not have any issues. They are only interested until you pay the money.

Change of Company Name??This company was previously Skylight Energy Solar, same address, but it's obvious that the bad reviews forced a name change.I apologize for the lengthy review, but it IS worth reading if you want to save yourself money and inconvenience.I'm unable to post the entire review due to file size, but I'll look at ways to do that. Suffice to say, the rest is as bad as that which I've posted, just appalling.I was moving house late November so started looking at solar installations about six weeks before that time.I'd spoken with many companies, alt representing themselves as the honest brokers, and everybody else was a scammer.Skylight sent a diagram of the roof, showing 22 panels, a 6.6 kw system.I settled on Skylight Energy Solar, reviews not too bad, and nothing to alarm me. I had looked at only one forum though, a huge mistake.I paid the deposit just before Christmas, and was told they'd be In touch early January, so imagine my surprise when I tried to contact them early January, and ALL 'phones, landlines and mobiles, were ringing out or not answering, no messages, just nothing.Alarmed, I put up a review which said no more than I thought they may have gone out of business, and if not, the service was appalling. I had a call within hours, asking me if I would take the review down, they'd been on Christmas break, and I would now receive great service, so I agreed, a mistake.I then received an email with attached account for the balance of the payment, about $4000, in breach of the terms of THEIR contract, which stated that full payment was required on the day of installation. I refused, and pointed out the clause In THEIR contract.Nothing happened for a couple of weeks, so I pursued them, again, and was 'promised that my installatlon would be 'next week' more than once. Of course that didn't happen.In late January, I received a call, and was told my components were ALL in store, and installation was imminent. Almost a month went by, and nothing happened.I then received a message that the panel manufacturer had stopped production, and the panels were being substituted, supposedly by more efficient. Skyight Solar have supplied me the BEST solar inverter and a large set of panels for a very good price. Installation was done by an energetic team, very neat install on roof, and left the area clean when done. I am happy I have made the right choice.

A++ Experience The installation was done Professionally with good quality installers. The Friendly Sales team helped take me through the process step by step. The Operations team especially Jodi helped with the Grid approval and now my Solar Saves me more money than ever before. I have saved enough money now and am planning to go holiday in the new year . Thanks again Skylight Energy without you this would not have happened. :)

It was pleasure to deal with Skylight starting from Sales to Admin to Logistics to Installation and Commissioning. Jean was on the ball and kept me updated all the way including invoicing and payments.Needless to say, I am totally impressed with Jean's professionalism and commitment.Jean took the time out to arrange the meter upgrade works well before the installation started.on the other hand, the Gem Installation staff were great and professional in their work and made and impression by removing all rubbish and leaving my premises very clean.I have no hesitation in recommending Skylight Energy to anyone looking for their solar system.

Go with them if you dare, their installers caused damage to my property then 1mth with out lights to loungeroom, bathroom or back yard, to which i had to sort out fixing myself, numerous phone calls and emails with no help, support or replies, when i did get hold of someone i was then told best if i fix it myself and send in a bill and have it deducted from my invoice i owe them to which they did (nothing about the repairs noted though), lucky they had not been paid before the job was complete is all i can say! Heaven help those that do pay first with this mob, oh and then threatened as i signed the STC (no contact until this was ready to go and not even an hello to let me know why i had to sign these over as it was 3 months since the deal had been done so no communication) over as they chased hard for the remaining amount with no acceptance of any time delays due to moving money around in my account to organise payment to them with no acceptance of any time delays at all or else they will add 20% interest calculated daily as per their T&C's, (if i was a little more financially secure i would have seen them in court) they said my invoice was 102 days over due (i have an email asking them for a copy of their invoice so i can pay it, 8 week prior to them chasing me for their money) - answer yes not paid because of the repairs not being completed yet!I have now paid them the money i owed them for this job but still have not received an updated invoice nor have the numerous holes in my ceiling been fixed from the installers putting too long of a screw through as you can see in photo's!So again your choice, just my side of what my dealings with them are!

So far i am unimpressed. no panels on the roof. No Green catch no Enphase inverters. No communication, no expected date to deliver, despite a personal visit to Skylight Solar Energy 2/651 Pacific Highway Rockdale at the rear of Speedway Garage In Harrow road. WAITING since 10 DEC 2018 . UPDATE. Call from Skylight asking to remove this review, 1200 hours 21 January to be continued.. As of today the installation is incomplete there has also been the illegal removale of funds from a credit card account. Comment from Sky light I have not received any correspondence from you.If you decide to come to our office to cause a stir you will be kicked outWe have had enough of your stupid empty threats ". Skylight Energy was good on price 6.6kw 20 X 330W Risen Half Cut Tier 1 Risen Panels with 5KW WI FI Solis Inverter and Titan Solar Racking Sale Price $2650.00.They need to improve on their customers service dead lines, I was booked for 9.00am, when I called the office I was informed that they will arrive within 1 hours time but it gradually drifted to 3.00pm and the installers left their stuff in my gararge and said we will return tomorrow morning. I had to take 2 days off work.
