Metropolitan Roof Tiles

The address of All Metropolitan Roofing given on this website is not the address on its invoices or that the proprietor, Patrick Raftery, uses, a Preston address. His business was deregistered by ASIC in May 2016 but he continues to operate. He subsequently performed costly work to supposedly repair a leaking roof, his efforts being cosmetic but entirely useless, he telling me that he could do no more. A roofing plumber had to then attend who located the leak far away from what Patrick had done. Patrick refused to refund the money for which Consumer Affairs became involved, the matter nor being before VCAT.

Very poor quality work.

Watching them work during lockdown. Very sloppy work, no facemasks or distances. Makes sense what other posts say, they don't care about rules so they won't care about your roof.

I have been dealing with the new owners at Metropolitan Roof Tiles and the difference has been amazing. communication, details and professionalism has been wonderful - Lee has been extremely friendly and helpful with all of my questions. Would Highly recommend them.

MRT are probably the most professional trade I have had on site as an owner builder. Workmanship was excellent, communication was 11/10 and stuck to their committed dates. Highly trustworthy and i highly recommend.

Metro Roof tiles did a great job with our property.Very happy with their service, work and end result.They even assisted with a replacement of broken roof tile after their job had finished and another trade broke a tile.Recommend Rob and the team if you require a new Tiled Roof.

Our roof is leaking straight into the bedroom. I've made so much effort to try and get them back to fix it. They've shrugged off any responsibility. They couldn't care less that their work is causing expense and distress.The flashing they used has been graded as non-compliant by the plumbing commission because 'it does not have the required weight or thickness' (see pictures)Not only is their workmanship hopeless, products non-compliant, they are unempathetic people.Stay away from this company they are horrible.

Just a heads up to stay away from this business. I had 4 new roofs installed and the workmanship was extremely poor. 22 Broken tiles and numerous leaks to start with and then the installers left the site unsafe and they even damaged the brand new concrete. Bill Dagher ( the owner) promised to pay for the damages and now wont return my calls. I have no alternative but to report them to the Victorian Building Assosciation. They are dishonest and cowboys.
