This little gem is everything a hospitality business should be. We popped in on a whim on a Friday night sans reservation, looking for a very light dinner. Despite this we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Order of service was timed beautifully, we weren’t rushed. Because of a late lunch, we shared an entree (seared tuna), main (prawn spaghettini) & a dessert (sticky date pudding). Each course was immaculately presented, fresh and delicious. I only wish I arrived hungrier! 5 star food, great value and really lovely service.

Thank you Canteen Coolum, I had the best breakfast! Not only was the food great but the service was impeccable and the view stunning. This is now my new local and I can't wait to try the locals night dinner. I recommend the truffle mushrooms and hubby was very happy with his bacon and eggs. Do yourself a favour and try it out!

In town for work and decided to stop here for a night quiet meal. Venue has nice ambient lighting and a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and the steak was excellent. Recommended.

I organised a lunch for my friends bridal shower here last weekend for 17 women. The food, cocktails and service were all amazing! Thank you to the team for making it a seamless and enjoyable lunch for us all, I will definitely be back!

We had the Locals Dinner special. Paprika chicken gnocchi. The dish was full of flavour and portion was small. Upside, space for dessert. Chocolate Torte had good marzipan and chocolate flavour garnished with candy floss, cream and honey crunch. The Ice Cream sandwich was pleasant. The restaurant wasn't busy and the service was good, we weren't rushed along and could relax and enjoy the evening.

Great place for breakfast or afternoon cocktails. Food is fantastic, playlist is great and service is perfect casual dining vibe. Worth checking out (especially for Katsu Fries).

Special shout-out to young Tamika for taking the extra time to interact with us. It was greatly appreciated & gave us a way better impression of the restaurant by seeing staff aiming to go over and above with their customers.Lisa has an amazing customer service delivery & it's easy to see she cares about her team & customers.My finance' had a cocktail which was perfect! The atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon was great, service was prompt & staff were polite, happy & attentive.Highly recommend going here if you want a good Coolum experience.
