Do not go here if you have curly hair. I’ve seen Lisa for my curly hair cuts over the past 4-5 years and I always left the salon happy however, I started to notice my hair was thinner and frizzier when it grew out. I assumed it was my thyroid and kept going back.I wholeheartedly trusted Lisa with my hair (and I do genuinely think she’s a lovely person) but when I attempted to contact saying I had done my research, consulted with curly hair specialists and I had come to learn her cutting method (thinning) was ruining my curls, courtesy wasn’t reciprocated and I received no response. She’s always cut my hair wet and I’ve come to learn curly hair needs to be cut dry.I was happy to return to Lila Boheme and learn together with Lisa but the no response has meant I’ve moved on to another hairdresser. My hair will take a long time to recover from this - and that’s frustrating.Like I said, do NOT go here if you have curly hair.

I am so impressed with my experience with Lila Boheme, from first enquiry to the finished product.From my initial enquiry, I received a reply within a day, and a call a day later confirming an appointment time. It was pleasant and simple.The day of, I arrived and had to wait a little while for her to finish with her previous client. This didn't bother me at all. When she invited me over I was so pleasantly surprised that, even though I was probably the last client of the day, at no point did I feel like I was being rushed through my appointment.I chose Lisa as I have curly hair and struggle to find someone to cut it according to my curls. As soon as I sat down she made me feel like she knew what she was doing and was confident she could give me exactly what I wanted. The conversations we had were pleasant but not forced. And after shed finished she showed me a few styling tips for my new do. She also explained how it will grow out and gave me a guage of what she would like to do with it in the future (a wonderful marketing tool that definitely worked!)Recommend for any other curly headed beauties wanting to embrace their natural hair!

My first visit to Lila Boheme today and couldn't be happier. Effie came recommended and was amazing - she listened to my ideas, asked questions and made great suggestions. She really took time to give me the exact style I was hoping for and I left feeling so, so happy to find a great stylist in a small, friendly salon. I would recommend her ten times over.
