Not recommend it, I'm really upset from their unpredictable job. I asked for hair color 3 and after wash it was jet black and looks bad.Also they use to change me $150 cash for color and hair cut but this time they changed me $200.I'm really unhappy about it. I won't be back anymore.

Where do I start. I have been coming to this place for a few years. Very pricey but I had good hair colour in the past here. I saw senior hair stylist Mira. I had a balayage hair color done only 2.5 months ago. So I called in to book a root touch up only. As I sat down at the salon I told stylist that. However she proceeded to do a complete balayage hair color without my knowledge and charged me $700. Mind you, only 2.5 months ago I was charged $800 for the full blayage. so this time I only wanted a touch up of the regrowth only. I expected it to cost no more than $250. Little did I know I was gonna be charged for $700 which was not disclosed to me at the start of the service. The stylist only let me know that apparently it was not possible to do regrowth only after she already completed a full balayage.Would not that be nice to let me know that before you started the process and charged me for full balayage that I did not ask for ? They ''hard sell'' you their ''treatment'' and charge hundreds of dollars for which honestly had no benefit to my hair. Next, hair cut. since I only had hair cut just 2.5 months ago. I told her I only wanted my layers trimmed a little. She proceeded to do a full on hair cut. Cut my hair ruthlessly at a very fast speed from the middle and ''thinned'' hair beyond repair. My long hair became shoulder length in matter of minutes!! My hair look like Japanese anime character. I cried when I got home. When I asked her about it at the salon she blamed me. She said apparently it was ''miscommunication'' and it was my fault for not stopping her while she was cutting and that it was already cut and nothing she could do. I was trying to grow my hair and it took me months to grow my hair that long. Now I have shoulder length hair that I did not ask for and do not know how to style. Another thing to note that I asked to know how much the service will cost on that day , she did not let me know the price before she started service despite me asking for it. Now I am thinking it probably was intentional. At the very end she just told me my bill was $700!! Highly unprofessional and feels like a scam. I will NOT set my foot in this salon again.

It was my first time coming to Kodi and it was the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. Nicole was an absolute professional and took her time to ensure that everything is being done flawlessly. She was very kind and gave me some pro tips to take care of my hair. One thing that really stranded out to me was the fact that she was being honest and did not just want to offer things that might be beneficial for the salon. This is very rare and I respect that so much. Would definitely come back. Finally found a hairdresser that I can trust!!

It’s been 2-3 years that I am going to Kodi for keratin, colour, cut and scalp treatment and it’s amazing.Sena and other girls are the best!!

Friendly & talented staff deliver a high quality service. I love the chairs at the basins where they wash your hair; the chair seat moves with you as you lean back so that your spine and neck are always in a comfortable position. Previously I’ve always found it uncomfortable leaning backwards into those basins but their set up is really comfortable. The salon is roomy and has a great aesthetic. I definitely recommend. The only downside is there’s a lack of transparency about the pricing. I got charged two different rates ($60 vs $80) on my first and second visit with the same hair stylist and doing a very similar style. My partner who has long (past the shoulders hair) who went for a more dramatic style change paid the same price I did for just a touch-up to my pixie cut. It would be more fair for shorter styles to be charged at a lower rate. Having said that, I’ve been really pleased with the results, and overall was a great experience, so I do recommend it.

Be mindful of going here with Western hair.I previously had been to Kodi a few years back and had a great experience getting my hair straightened. Returned this year and disaster.Firstly they required me to cut layers in my hair which i didn't want, i had only got it cut 2 weeks earlier and provided photo evidence. The cut" ended up so bad it simply looked like she hacked my hair and all uneven.Then came the straightening part

I had been to Kodi Hair one time a couple of years ago and I was happy with the result (just a full head of colour - chocolate brown). The atmosphere is really nice and it feels super zen. The costs are very high but I thought that was normal as it seemed fancy and they were very well experienced.I recommended them to my sister who went for a cut and she then had to fix the layers when she got home. I should’ve taken this on board when booking again for a balayage. It cost me $678 for balayage and cut, of which I was left with the below result. I paid a premium for long and thick hair and after they thinned out my hair so much and cut it terribly, I’ve now had to cut my hair to a bob after years of growing it out.The hairdresser (who I don’t want to name) felt terrible and did refund me (for the cut only) and did offer to fix it for free but I was genuinely too nervous to step foot back in there, incase they made it even worse.I was happy with the colour initially, but after one wash (with olaplex shampoo, conditioner and fanola), all the dye has come out and it’s orange and patchy. I would recommend doing your research first before booking.This photo was just before my sister came over to help cut my hair, which was free and a much better result. I’m not having to go to another salon to pay another hefty fee to fix the colour. Feels as though I literally just threw a whole bunch of cash down the drain.
