Salty Squid Licensed Seafood Bistro
I have read so many reviews about the Seafood Platter for 2 and we just had to try it at lunch today. OMG, totally exceeded expectations- fresh and absolutely delicious! Accompanied by a very nice Chapel Hill Sangiovese Rose. We both enjoyed every morsel!

Had the eggs Benny with bacon and hubby had eggs Benny with salmon. I enjoyed mine but the bacon was a bit to crispy so it was hard to eat and the salmon wasn't best as there was alot of water/juice left on the plate from it. Was still enjoyable, not the best, but better than others we have had. Food came out surprisingly quick. Nice atmosphere, was raining too which made sitting there more enjoyable.

Went here after being told it was a great place well ….Dirty champagne glassesWhen we told waiter he bought 2 more out & said I don’t know if these are any better.After 45mins our meals didn’t arrive so I called waiter over he said what’s the problem?? Then he said oh yr order didn’t go through to the kitchen I will sort it now 20mins later it arrived.We saw a waiter taking food to a table & his thumb was almost in the side of the burger yukThe staff seriously need a revamp dirty clothes, I wished we walked out after 30minsWould never go back and certainly would not recommend the salt squid to anyone at all

Yummy breakfast, I had the crepes, and my daughter had the lox and bagel. Great beverages. Friendly service. We picked up some desserts to go, which were also fabulous.Fun deco.

Love this place. Food is awesome, lovely staff & and a beautiful area to go for a walk and look at the scenery or spend the day on the beach before or after.

The food ingredient was changed/reduced, but price increased quite a bit. After eating there 3 times, from great to good to disappointment, so won't go there again, and won't recommend it to any good friends. From $40 to $46, then to $52. Too greedy.

Four of us went for lunch the staff were great the beer was cold and the food was excellent. I had the prawns with a Greek salad and it was absolutely delicious.

Lunch at Salty Squid is definitely worth a drop in. We had the seafood platter, a good share size for 2 at $46. It had 4 of everything- fresh king prawns, battered prawn, calamari and fish pieces plus scallops on shell with chips and salad . Tasted awesome . We had a glass of their Rose wine to wash it down, refreshing . You can sit at tables on deck or down the stairs . Staff are very friendly and prompt. Thoroughly recommend .

After having a very bad experience at a restaurant not far from the salty squid restaurant I and 5 other people i was with walked a short distance to the salty squid restaurant were very very impressed with the friendly staff and service at the salty squid restaurant super helpful super fast service. I can't praise them enough. Well the food on a rating out 1 to 10 i would have to rate it at a 15 super fresh super tasty and lots of it . Top job guys looking forward to coming back. I am so full I can't recommend any higher.
