Been there twice, once sold out, and once with the wrong google opening hours

This Pafu sells out quite early so I always miss out! Grabbed a Kaya bun and it was delicious, sweeter than the regular coffee bun. Apple custard puff is the classic and a great size for breakfast or snack. Service is always friendly and prompt.

Definitely recommend the salted egg croissant (can you get this outside of box hill/China town?!) generous filling without being too muchMango and almond wasn't bad either.Croissants $7.50 each

Wanted to buy a one of the croissant but was asked if there is any chance we are pregnant?! I can't remember the reason that they asked but that's a bit rude. It's not like going in a medical clinic

Just went you think you've tried every pastry there is to try, up pops PAFU. We loved their creative little flaky pastries with delicious sweet fillings. Small enough that they don't feel overwhelming and a great choice!

We were eager for some dessert after having lunch so we headed for Kurimu x Pafu in Box Hill. It was a busy Sunday afternoon - difficult to find parking, but the dessert place itself wasn’t too busy. There was a nice range of croissants, choux pastries, and the classic coffee bun. Pictured are the Charcoal Croissant with Vanilla Custard, and the Coffee Bun. Both were good desserts - soft and just sweet enough. The prices were what you expect for the hype - a little pricey. There were no places to sit and eat, but that wasn’t an issue - we went to the foodcourt area of Box Hill Central instead. Staff were quick and friendly.I’m giving the place 4 stars as I wish they had served the coffee bun warm - the butter inside would have been melted more, and the bun itself would have tasted nicer (unsure if we arrived too late for it to be served warm as it was late Sunday noon). A menu outside would also help as they only had a menu at the register, and on the wall near the register. It was difficult to see what else was available when people were lined up, and when the display out front only had the croissants and some of the choux pastries.Overall, nice spot if you want something sweet, and quick while walking around Central.

I purchased a Mentaiko croissant, but the amount of Mentaiko is much less than expected. Very disappointed that it tastes just like an original croissant and it costs $6. You might try other croissant but definitely not Mentaiko.

Yum! I had the apple Pafu which was delicious. Definitely worth a try for something a bit different
