My partner and I went to Mauj on a whim because it was a cant be bothered cooking night.The service was excellent, our server was very attentive.Serving sizes were adequate, we left full and still had some to take home. The photos were of the food we ended up taking home because we just couldn't fit it in.The quality of food was very good, everything tasted great, and was fresh and hot. In fact it was probably the best Indian restaurant we've eaten in Melton.Everything is priced reasonably.Everything came out pretty quickly.the restaurant was clean and had a lovely atmosphere.It was quiet when we went, however if everyone else's experience was as good as ours I imagine it will be quite busy.

Dine in | Dinner | A$200-300The vibe of the restaurant is warm and friendly, with music complimenting it's perfectly cooked food and hotness of food rating is extraordinary. We were asked on scale of 1 to 10 how spicy / hot you want your food and we went for 10.. it was the best choice . We end up eating more than expected and. Trust me, it didn't feel heavy at all on stomach after eating. So they are using best ingredients, it seems. Next time I am definitely going their again.

Beautiful authentic Indian everything was delicious from vegetarian to the meat dishes as my partner eats meat. As well as amazing service and very good English. Will be back !! Best Indian in melton

Mauj catered a recent gathering at my home. The service was great, the food was prepared and organised well and the value for money was excellent. There was a lot of food left over and people were happy to take some home. Good job!

What a gem! Incredible food, fresh and full of flavour, gracious and professional hosts who are always so welcoming. We have sampled the butter chicken, biryani, naans, and platters. The best Indian food in the West.

This was our second visit to Mauj and this time with friends n family. (8 ppl)The restaurant has great space indoors and parking is also available on the streets which is less crowded esp on weekends.On the food - it was all great. All the entrees and butter chicken from mains stood out and not to forget the mango lassi. We ordered that much we couldn't try our hands on the dessert. Quantity was spot on and few dishes had that extra spice" which made the taste feel closer to home. :-)Shout out to the lady who served us and ensured we had everything required esp for the kids. (Thanks for giving the kids some balloons to play with) Lovely gesture.Thanks once again."

We have attended MAUJ on multiple occasions and were impressed with the quality of food and service every time. The food was cooked to perfection. The staff is very friendly and help you with smile every time.They have enough options to choose for children. Furthermore, their prices were reasonable.I highly recommend this restaurant for dining in or take away!

Gobi 65 with Gravy was a disappointment. Without flavor, too oily just not made with attention.Prices are for fine dining while the quality attotude is for a take away.
