Got to meet one of my all time fav sportsmen, Shaq! Thanks to the Hour Group for a well run event, I’ll never forget it

This company is the most unorganised, inept, unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Myself and two friends attended the Shaq event in Melbourne and paid $350 each for ‘’meet and greet’ tickets. There was no meet and greet because Shaq left after about 20 minutes and hundreds of fans lined up missed out on this experience. There was no explanation from the company on the night or in coming days. I was later promised a signed Shaq jersey which was obviously a delay tactic and never arrived. I was then promised a refund for all three tickets - as requested I provided proof of purchase/bank details and since then have been completely ghosted by this company. I have since filed a report containing all correspondence with this scam company, with the Ombudsman. There would be many people in this same situation. Where is our money??!!

Got a Shaq package that included the signed jersey for the Sydney show last year and unfortauntely missed out on the jersey on the night. Other than that, the night was great getting to listen to Shaq and getting a photo with him. Even though the moment was short lived it was still awesome to have someone of his calibre come to Australia, was a pleasure to get to meet him nonetheless. In regards to the jersey it was very disappointing on the night and took some follow up and patience but after a few months of contact with The Hour Group, they followed through and went above and beyond for me. Chris from The Hour Group contacted me a few weeks ago personally and advised that the jerseys were in their possession and to go above and beyond they would offer to get them professionally framed with a COA. They did that for me and they went even further and sent me both a Lakers and an Orlando jersey both hand signed and framed. It worked out in the end and over the moon that The Hour Group put in the effort to follow through and really went above and beyond! I know the Shaq shows have copped abit of flack but I hope they can recover and continue to bring great names to Australia.

I was one of the people affected by the Shaq fiasco. I didn't get to meet him and then was promised a signed jersey, only to not hear from the company for a few months. I had given up hope and then I received an email out of the blue, saying that the signed jersey would be delivered. Kate (customer service rep who I'm sure has been doing it tough) was courteous and apologetic, and explained that the company had gone through a restructure. All told, it's been a rough process but they kept their word and followed through, in what must have been some difficult circumstances. Pics attached for anyone who thinks this is a fake review.

We’re meant to refund me $500 and now won’t respond. They said they would refund me, then that the refund would be delayed and then no response to any emails. Contact began April 2022. A person called Kate that works there committed to a refund in November 2022. Still no refund nor replies to my attempts to contact them. Dodgy as.

Was fortunate enough to see Shaq when he was here…was an unbelievable experience to see an idol of mine in the flesh with the meet and greet option…even got an autographed trading card!These guys keeping bring people down here that I never thought I’d be able to see…keep doing what your doing boys!

The Hour Group continues to lead the way in terms of talent they bring into Australia. I would highly recommend events hosted by these legends, who continue to deliver above and beyond for fans and consumers.

Top company breaking new frontiers in the experience business! I had a great time meeting some of the worlds top athletes through The hour Group. I know things are going to get even bigger too!

The recent fake 5 star reviews are hilarious. This company is an absolute joke.Won a radio competition to meet Shaq, flew interstate at my own cost with the promise this would happen. Told as compensation they would send a single jersey when my partner is also out of pocket.Been three months since this happened and still haven't received anything.Clearly just want the whole thing to blow over in the hopes everyone forgets.DO NOT go to an hour group event if you value your hard earned money.
