Gossip Nail Salon

I visited the salon for the first time today and got acrylic infills. I’m so happy with the shape and the gel colour application was perfect. Will definitely be returning.

The team at Gossip Nail Salon is amazing! All of the team members are talented and diligent, and they provide a wonderful service. I go out of my way to visit this salon over others closer to me because the longevity of their products exceeds all others I have visited. I definitely recommend them highly!

I started going here 2 months ago and just had my 4th service. I've been seen by 3 different people. I've found it to be hit and miss. My first service was really good! 2nd service I received uneven lengths, shaping and thickness. I was reluctant going back for my 3rd but I did anyway and when I explained how I didn't like them they listened and did an excellent job and reshaped them to be even in shape and thickness. Yesterday I went back for my 4th (to the person who did my first set so I thought it would be really good again). While they did do excellent work they didn't listen to me and was rude. I tried to explain how I was concerned about a particular and asked whether I would need to cut it back or whether it could be saved (my nail chipped on the side). I'm not sure what their issue was with me but they were clearly in an unhappy mood and said what do you want me to do about it!?" which made me very uncomfortable. To make matters worse... the other person who removed my drip and got my colour from the wall accidentally got the wrong colour. I picked purple but got pink. The person who was in a mood was applying my colour they didn't ask me if this was the colour I picked nor did I feel comfortable telling them it was the wrong colour.... they also gave me the wrong shape to what I had asked. I wanted oval but was told I was getting round. I just sat there just trying to get out because of how uncomfortable I felt. I had one fake tip on one nail and when I look under it after leaving there is a big gap between my real nail and tip which will bother me because I know it will get gunk between. While the set I got yesterday looks really good... they did do a good job... I don't love them because it is not the colour or shape I asked for and there is a gap in a tip. I'd probably give them another go but I won't get them done by the 2 of 3 ladies who have done them before... I will be looking elsewhere as an alternative to going back."

They were friendly, polite and quick. Love my nails.

I don’t usually do reviews, but this is the worst manicure I’ve ever had. I did not have a good experience in the salon and my nails are so wonky and lifting after not long. This is the worst nail set I have ever received

This is the only nail salon I will use in Canberra. I have had a different lady every time and my nails are perfect every time. I have never been to a better salon. Honestly, the best!!!

The lady who did my acrylic infills did a very rushed job and seemed to not care or listen to what I was asking for.Each nail is a different length and wonky (leaning to the left as was filed more on one side for almond shape) wasn’t given a chance to wash my hands of all the dust, nor did they offer any cuticle oil at the end so I had to leave with dry and powdery hands. Also was then overcharged for just infills, without any communication or explanation as to the services.

Really nice ladies, do an excellent job on my nails.

I love getting my nails done here. The team are efficient and my nails always look fantastic. They are always happy to fit me in and I never have to wait long.
