Great local joint with amazing flavours. The specials board had some great options. The desserts are next level.The staff were very helpful and attentive. The vibe was very homely and not too loud. Great for an intimate catch up with family or friends.

It's been a very interesting experience. We're definitely coming back. It's like home made delicious fresh food, original recipes, unusual presentation, interesting menu. The feel is really kind of different to other restaurants.

A friend of ours invited us for dinner here. Nice music and very welcoming hosts. It was a nice experience from the start. I don't usually go for a vegetarian meal but their vegetarian options sounded so good and our friend said they are very good, so I decided on full vegetarian. Lentil parcel for entree was so unusual and beautiful. I had never had anything like that before. Highly recommend! I was intrigued by the looks of it, so I forgot to take a photo!Vegetarian main had so many unusual ingredients with a variety of textures and flavours but very harmonious in the miso based sauce. I'll go back for that again!!My husband had the chicken dish and the sauce was fantastic! I want to have that one again too.They had so many interesting desserts but we were so full and we decided to share a hazelnut chocolate cake (sorry, no pic)! Umm divine!!I think this place has become my favourite restaurant in Sydney!! Highly recommend!!!

Hidden gem on Sydney's lower north shore. Such fresh and innovative dishes. Both Ivan and Lissie are such warm and genuine hosts. They're the reason I go back time and again.

Family owned and a favourite amongst the locals of the area. You instantly feel welcomed into the restaurant like walking into your own home. The food is delicious and we always start with the eggplant chips they are delectable. Service is fast and you always leave feeling full and satisfied. Definitely worth try if you are in the area.

OH. MY. GOD. Is this heaven?? I’ve been living literally two minutes walk away for 2.5 years and went for the first time last week. I’m kicking myself for all the time wasted at other restaurants when I could have been here! It’s sublime!!!! Had the lentil entree, the slow cooked beef main and the flamboyant banana berry dessert and I think I’ve died and gone to heaven. Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to in the past 12 months. Don’t be a chump like me and judge it for the wall colour!!! Sensational.

Great foods in a hidden gems. Family run and has been in this spot for over 20 years. A lot of customers are their regular customers and food is inspired by Indian, Chinese, Malaysian, Indonesian and good fusion.

Beauty on a plate. I am as spiritual as a house brick, but Lizzie’s artful Buddhist’s Pleasure moved me. Delicate, balanced and complex. Our first time at Ivan and Lizzie’s Teahouse and it was well worth the trip to experience a wonderful meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
