Staff very attentive and so very helpful.Great choice for decorations and party bits and costumes etc etc!Love it!!

Their selection is good but the customer service…. Horrible doesn’t even explain it! I was in there looking for stuff, it was exactly 4:45 and they close at 5 when a young man came up to me and very aggressively said “we close in 10 minutes so go downstairs” thats it!! No please no just letting you know! I work in retail and we close the doors maximum 5 minutes before closing time and i have never dared myself to speak like that to a customer!! Disappointing customer experience every time i go in there!Also the custom i purchased was a 3 piece set and 1 piece is missing but i will not be going through that horrible customer service again just copping it!!

Unfortunately changing my review from 5 stars to 1 after recent events.Usually I get great service from these guys and have been a customer for 6 years…. but my last 2 experiences were woeful.Had a very rude lady on the phone tell me “we don’t do personal shopping for people” when I politely and simply asked if some items were in stock.Also paid $60 (our entire decoration budget) on a very special balloon that I knew would bring joy to my son for weeks (one of those car walker balloons with weights) when I asked staff if it could be a floating balloon as the party is outside and I didn’t want it on the grass for fear of popping… they said yes, and to remove the weights (that make it a walker) and tied the ribbons around the wheels and advised me to buy 2 of the normal balloon weights to hold it down and make it float (which I did).Before my son even got to enjoy it, a gust of wind blew it away because it turned out the wheels were only stuck on! (So tying the ribbons around the wheels was an absolute fail)I rang and asked if I could get a partial refund as it was the DRUMMOYNE PARTY SHOP STAFF who tied the string and it was the party shop staff who advised to remove the other weights.At first they said they couldn’t do anything because it should have been a walker balloon and I shouldn’t have removed the weights… when I explained I did this on THEIR ADVICE.(they still wouldn’t take responsibility and said things like “but I didn’t know it was an outdoor party” and “it was and extremely windy day yesterday”) even though they knew that info before advising me.They ended up settling for a measly $20 credit for more balloons. Not really helpful after the parties over.Very disappointed. (Here’s the only photo I got of the wasted balloon)

Lovely experience!! Everyone from the balloon desk to the people who helped me with the click and collect order were so helpful and friendly. The helium balloons were a great size, much bigger than ones I've received from other stores, and they lasted all night. I'll continue to shop here for all my party needs!

Massive selection and reasonable prices. Underground parking whilst limited is a bonus. They do custom balloon orders and have a good website. Staff and friendly. If you have an occasion planned this place is very good for getting the decorations sorted. Good artificial Christmas tree selection too

I literally spent a whole day in the store ( by choice as i didn’t really know what I needed) I ended up finding what I wanted and it paid off... My daughters were making their First Holy Communion and I needed tableware and more and it looked so beautiful. Thankyou to some of the team at The Party People Megastore Drummoyne, your help and advice made the whole process easy and lots of fun xxxThe Christmas area upstairs is like a winter wonderland and the lady who runs that area is a delight and so so so so helpful and wonderful to deal with, thankyou to all the staff in the Christmas section you made my day !!!The downside is the balloons area, I understand your busy but the lack of interest and rudeness I encountered was appalling, I suggest the store re-arrange the area and have a back room so the staff doing ballon creations can concentrate on jobs they have to do and have a dedicated balloons staff member to answer questions from walk in customers as they were busy but asking advice from them was painful...

This is the best place in Sydney, to purchase everything that is required to make your party one of a kind. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Have been shopping with them for years at both locations and have always had a good experience. Their helium balloon selection and service is outstanding. I've purchased balloons for all occasions and they have always been delivered on time and exceeded my expectations. Keep up the great work.
