I didn't actually use Prime Mechanical, I went in to query if they could help me with my import car and rather than just saying yes (he did say he could do it but I might be better taking it to the other company) and taking my money referred me to another company that has more experience with my car. Much respect to a company that does that.

Went to get radiator replaced. They fit me in the same day so yay! Always had good service from other Repcos. A couple of days later, whilst sitting and idling, I noticed a small amount of steam coming from under the car so turned the engine off. The bottom hose had come completely adrift and lost all the coolant. If I had been hurtling along the freeway, I may never had noticed in time and bye-bye engine. When I went back to Repco, they were very bláse about it, as if this happened all the time. To give credit, they replaced the coolant and had a different mechanic check the work. But I won't risk going there again.

It was good they did a service on my car. It was due so every time I need a service on my car, I don't hesitate to take my car to Prime Auto. . Few more things I gotta fix but money is an issue for me, but otherwise I would recommend to others and if you are an RAA member you get discount. I also like the idea of being dropped home and picked up when your car is ready or they organise a loan car and the fact they ring with details before fixing your car so no surprises
