I can’t recommend this company high enough. My elderly mother renovated her external bathroom. From past experience we have had all sorts of problems from past tradies. They seem to use short cuts which result in poor workmanship and problems not to far down the track. Kennedy’s is so organised. They schedule all tradies, plumbers, elections etc so that there was someone here all the time. Everyone turned up on time. If you want no stress and quality work ring them. If you don’t want to be missing days from work due to no show ring them. My friends and family have seen the quality in their work and will be using Kennedy’s. You may have to wait a little while but worth it.

If you are a carer be warned, terrible project management, poor quality finish, poor quality product choices , took far too long creating more problems due to delays. Got called back repeatedly for incomplete work and poor finish. Got paid for work that they didnt do, the list goes on. We are all under pressure at the moment but I wouldn't recommend using them if you want profession goid quality work. They have gone down hill recently.

Very expensive, use sub contractors so adds to your costs

Absolutely wonderful, when our one and only heater refused to light, they were so quick to get her to fix it and make sure my kids weren't going to be cold. Absolutely would use them again, friendly, polite, knew what they were doing and efficient. Thank you.

very professional, very easy to talk to, and all work well done. Did my b`room & kitchen, and all trades knew their job well. Cannot speak highly enough of these guys. l think their pricing is right, they are not the cheapest, but pay peanuts get monkeys. A+ on all counts. thanks guys

BEWARE BEWARE BEWAREIf you are a NDIS participant DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER.Their work is beyond terrible and they send multiple subcontractors to do shoddy work on the cheap. You get NO CHOICE about what you’d like in your bathroom as they bulk order CHEAP UGLY fittings from their mates at Reece Plumbing.The bathroom they remodelled is now totally unusable as it floods as soon as the shower is turned on. The grout in the floor tiles is lifting as they did not waterproof the floor before laying tiles. This is now causing significant structural damage to the property.John Kennedy building refuses to take responsibility or rectify the situation. They billed the NDIA over $20k for this mess. Another building company has suggested the job should not have cost any more than $10k.They have been reported to the NDIA fraud team and the building ombudsman and whoot.e WILL be taking legal action against these crooks.Stay far far away. They are taking advantage of the most vulnerable people and they don’t give a hoot.

I could not speak more highly of the team at John Kennedy Plumbing and Building Services. From my very first interaction with them, they have been extremely professional and reliable. They respond to emails and calls straight away, arrive on time, and all of their tradies are wonderful to deal with. I got my bathroom fully gutted and modified for wheelchair use and the job is perfect - I couldn't fault it. It looks very slick and while it's accessible in every way, it does not look like what people may think is a typical disabled bathroom - it's very modern and the workmanship is spot on. I also got other work done around the house. An updated kitchen, laundry, toilet, painting and flooring and again the work is brilliant. The project ran on time (the only hurdle was a delay with the bathroom tiles which was my fault) and when I moved back in, the team was back a few days later to quickly address very minor things that weren't completed before I moved. I would recommend and/or use JKBPS again in a heartbeat. A big shout out to Dave in particular who was brilliant at managing the project, as well as Lachie and all the other tradies who worked so hard on my renovation. Even better, all my neighbours had nothing but positive things to say about the crew and raved on about how professional they all were.
