This place is amazing. Very family oriented and a great place for families. They have a kids play area, a library section and even a foozeball table! Always clean and the owners are very considerate and lovely people. Can’t speak highly of this place enough.Not your average BJJ studio, this one really stands out ✨

Dedicated coaching staff that bring the best out of their students. Not only do they teach a highly effective self defence system but they instill confidence and the knowledge to avoid needless confrontation. My son loves going to class knowing he feels safe and welcome and everyone there encourages his improvement. There is no ego, the place is absolutely family friendly and caters to beginners and the more advanced. I definitely am 100% happy with the decision to bring my son here to train and classes are incredibly affordable and run 6 days a week.

Joining SJJA Prestons was one of the best decisions my family and I made this year. Not only does the coaching team teach us self-defence skills, we are able to take their principles, values, and approach to BJJ and apply them to all areas of our life. This has empowered us not to give up during tough times. SJJA Prestons is a family friendly organisation and welcomes and encourages the whole family to get involved. If you or your family are looking to join a community that promotes discipline and compassion, I highly recommend you to check out the gym and meet with the coaching staff.

Best gym ever. Started my bjj journey here so welcoming and always enjoyed turning up to training. Coach will and John are the best coaches you can have. Everyone there is respectful and has good energy. Highly recommend.

We would like to say a big thank you to Will and Coach John for taking in our 3 year older daughter M and teaching her. SJJA has taught her confidence, teamwork, respect and it was FUN. Coach John is wonderful with the kids and we cannot highly recommend this centre enough.

This place is absolutely amazing, not just the coaches that they are very talented, passionate, professionals with a lot of experience and patience with kids, also the space is huge, play-area for the siblings to wait, reading corner, tables and chairs for parents, kitchen where you can make coffee (provided) warm meals for the kids to eat, and the staff is very friendly. The community is beautiful. I can’t recommend enough.

Our two daughters Amber (5 years old) and Jade (9 years old) started practicing Jiu-Jitsu about 7 months ago at SJJA Jiu-Jitsu Academy Prestons and they love it. And we love it too. Watching the class is even better than going to the movies ; ) The atmosphere is genial.The Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Staff are very approachable, kind, caring, family orientated, having this special Martial Art spirit.We also feel that the people coming to bring their kids or practicing Jiu-Jitsu themselves are on the same friendly energy. Amber & Jade have made so many friends from all ages.On top of learning defence skills, we feel that Amber and Jade also learn to build esteem, confidence, respect, discipline, active listening.What an amazing Academy !!! TOP OF THE TOP ACADEMY.Merci Beaucoup !!
