Sturt Reserve

Sturt Reserve is a wonderful park which is located on the banks of the Murray River, Murray Bridge. There are BBQ facilities, Sports equipment, Sports facilities, Cycling, Accessible facilities, Toilets, Play equipment, Shaded equipment Fenced equipment, Picnic area, Shelter, Walking and hiking trails and so on.This reserve is the venue for the Murray River Splash Festival held each year throughout the month of January.Here features a children’s playground, skate park, lawn tennis courts, community club, dining, jetties and is a haven for local wildlife. Popular water sports including swimming, rowing, boating, water skiing, wakeboarding and fishing.

Good place for walking the dog, he loves to play and jump in the water. There are often other people walking their dogs, people are very friendly and sometimes we have a chat.

Amazing to see the river so high, and it's only going to get higher!¡!!

Usually a great place to visit but currently partly under water so closed.

A short visit to this area. Have been before. In any weather it is clean and safe for families and especially children. Clean well maintained toilets which are regularly cleaned. Cafe and bar facilities available. Great place to picnic close to the water of the River Murray.

Love the place. Love going for my daily walk and there is so many restaurants to choose from.

A tad under water at the moment, but still awesome!

Great family oriented place. Could do with a few more areas for rubbish and maybe another set of toilets but for a riverside park it is a relaxing and fun place to explore or just sit and do some quiet reading. BYO chair, though for more areas. There is a lot of history in this area!
