This place was recommended to me and my husband and luckily we were in Esperance on a Friday! Sad that they are only open on a Friday but it is what it is.We got there and we saw a huge queue waiting for us. We just hoped that it would be worth it...and WOW it was. 100% worth it. It was the most delicious sausage roll and cinnamon bun I've ever eaten, I wish I bought more! The tim tam donut was SO good, the filling was SO light and creamy and the donut so soft.My husband ordered the 3 other things in the photo. The brownie, the wrap and the Nutella cruffen. I wasn't a huge fan of the brownie because it was SO light and fluffy that it almost tasted like cake, instead of a brownie, but my husband loved it. The wrap was good and I would say that the worst" thing we ordered was the cruffen. "Worst" as in still amazing but rated last on the list of all the delicious things we had.The ladies serving us were also amazing and SO kind

Fantastic setup, great local business with delicious food, GF and vegetarian options for myself and my hubby, and a beautiful kid friendly space. It's a really family and dog friendly place to eat, with a huge range of play spaces. Large trampoline, sandpit, trucks & diggers, play equipment, dinosaurs, a chook pen and gorgeous native gardens. House and bakery space are very trendy, with picnic tables amongst beautiful old gum trees. I know the bakery also support local indigenous young people through providing work experience. All round a great setup, definitely one of the hidden treasures of Esperance.

Awesome little bakery in there backyard. Very fresh and if you get there at 9am you will see the baked goods coming out of the oven.

On recommendation from a local while staying in Esperance for work, I visited Bread Local. This bakery is only open 1 day a week & that day is Friday. 9-5pm full menu 12-5pm. This is no ordinary bakery. Settled 4k outside the main steer of Esperance nestled under shedding gum trees to the side of a personal property. To say it gets busy is an understatement, when I arrived at 12:15 they had a guy & an aging black Lab directing you where to park on the ample property. Once you park & walk around behind the shed you find a stunning grassed area with bulb lighting run between gum trees, plenty of lawn to cop a squat, bench seating, sand pit, trampoline & of course the bakery. I was lucky I was 7th in line but when I was leaving the line was 15 deep. I spoilt myself buying many items so I could taste a little of all of them, admittedly though I did eat all of the custard scroll & Inso not regret it!! This from a person who does not have a sweet tooth. For such a small bakery it is an extensive menu ( see photos) the breads are to die for & they also do cook dinner dishes like chicken broccoli potatoes gratin that you can refrigerate at home to cook later. The chicken & sweet corn finger pie had actual big chunks of chicken, the pork & sage sausage roll was melt in your mouth mince, so fine & full of flavour unlike any other I have had. I am happy that Bread Local is not local to me as I could not do enough hours in the gym to work off what I would eat from there. Please do yourself a favour & make a Friday part of your stay in Esperance & treat yourself. Kid/dog friendly.

This place was incredible!! Loved everything we had, only down fall was it’s not open everyday because I’d be there for the cinnamon scrolls!

Just absolutely love this place. Best of everything; bread, pastries, cakes. The vanilla slice is sublime, better than Europe. Organise our trips to Esperance to include Fridays.
