The pastry alone is worth the four hour drive from Sydney. So tasty! Such good quality. I most definitely will be back!

If you are ever traveling through this town, make sure you stop and have a coffee at this place. Service was lovely but coffee was even better. We only had some cakes which were so good but the pies and sausage rolls looked amazing in the cabinet. I recommend ordering a brownie it was delicious. 5 stars.

We were visiting from Melbourne and I bought the cinnamon and sultana loaf and spelt and wholemeal bread the day before they closed for Christmas. The bread was really really good and I'm sad that we can't get more before we leave. Next time I will stock up. I also had regrets not buying some of the laminated pastries, as they also looked amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting quality bread and pastries. It's worth the extra cost for sure.

Not being a Gloucester local, I needed to find and order a cake for an extended family weekend holiday. I found the Batter & Dough website and everything was so easy from selecting the cake of choice (so many to choose from), payment through to pick up. Hailey was prompt with her replies to all of my communications. The cake was exactly as ordered and tasted fantastic, everyone loved the cake and there was no left overs!!!Will not hesitate in ordering another cake again for my next trip to Gloucester

Best cinnamon donuts I have ever had. Good coffee too. Beautiful shop. I drove 6000km and this was the best bakery I stopped at.
