I love shopping at Coles Gateways, but they keep discontinuing all my favourite products. I know it's not always their fault. Though I am sad to see that Coles didn't bring out their Coles brand candy canes this year which are made in New Zealand. The only ones they have been selling this year, which are made in China, do not taste anywhere near as good.

Poor service recently. Lady at self-checkout came after an error on the machine. But instead of just checking and swiping her override card, she was lecturing us on how to bag items one by one in a way where other people at the other machines started turning their heads on us. We are not new to self-check out machines, and we usually do our groceries at coles, so she kinda made us feel like we're stupid.Then another day, quiet tuesday, and yet check out lady was rushing and didnt look happy when we insisted to have some of the items placed on the trolley coz we only have 2 reusable bags that time.

Loved going to this branch. One of the bigger branch of Coles inside a shopping mall. Best part you can have coffee inside the grocery area.

My gift card was not scanning at the self serve with the conveyor just beside the customer desk and the kid came in to help me. He wasn't trained yet so he did the right thing and called for backup. The lady Linda said she would be with me after a customer. She then went on to attend to 4 customers and then proceeded to ignore me. It wasn't like I was far away. No, I was just beside her. I just paid with my other card to save me the embarrassment of holding up the queue. When I passed her by, she was cutting up boxes. Kajal - the supervisor I think- talked to her about it. This is why I go out of my way to not shop at this Coles branch. Just awful awful staff. Except for the kid, he was good. He'll probably move somewhere better soon. This looks like a toxic Coles workplace.
