Stunning waterfall about an hour from cooktown, there is a small free camp on both sides of the small watercrossing but there's not many places so recommend an early arrival, shallow so the kids are fine no cross and a small beach area to sit and enjoy.

Safe place to swim. Met a few local fishermen and their families all love swimming in the pools and waterfall. The water is a little murky on one side of the bridge but the other was fresh and clean. Watch for slippery rocks.

Beautiful place to visit, camp and swim (in safe areas). Room for about 10 camps to stay for free.

A pretty spot to visit. I wouldn't use the word spectacular like some but it was a pretty spot to visit, safe for a dip, not deep at the moment, a few spots at chest height. Carparking both sides of the creek. A few cm deep over the causeway.
