Melton Family Vets

We had previously brought our Jack Russell to this vet for surgery, and it is our very strong opinion that during that visit, our fur baby caught ringworm. Our boy does not normally leave our property, nor interact with other animals, except our cat. Our cat certainly does not, nor has she ever had ringworm, and neither do we. We are aware of the incubation period" etc and the timing also fits perfectly.Due to the ringworm

Attending any vet has always been a stressful experience for me as one of my cats get extremely aggressive each time. But they handled her so well and made me feel at ease. So naturally I took my new puppy. I can tell how much they love animals and how knowledgeable they are. My puppy is now 6 months old and she loves going into the vet and get a lot of attention. I always get great advice for both cats and dogs. I'm glad I found this vet for sure!

Dating back to the first time I called Melton Family Vets, their friendly receptionist was so helpful to book us in accordingly wether it be urgent or routine.One specific time my cat Daisy needed to be seen after a long weekend she developed an abscess and everywhere was closed (given the surgery was extremely busy) he was nice enough to make it possible for us bring her in and Dr Sammi and her awesome nurse treated my beloved Daisy which saved me a very expensive trip to the animal hospital.Over a few weeks she was checked over thoroughly and I have never felt more welcome (even having to bring along my 3 children), Daisy has since made a full recovery and I know for sure you won’t ever see me in any another vet clinic again, I have finally found somewhere that’s not just looking for $$$! Highly recommend vet clinic.I was quoted though out all my appointments so there was no bill-shock at the end.Thank you to all staff , from Daisy and Bostons family :)

Many thanks to Dr Sammi, Robbie and the rest of the team for looking after Oreo. Oreo had a huge abscess over her left eye due to a grass seed and we were concerned that she will lose an eye. The team at Melton Family Vets did a fantastic job and now Oreo’s back to her bubbly raptor-like way.A very friendly, caring, accommodating bunch!!

Very professional and the care for your pet is so wonderful. It was my first time visiting Melton Family Vets with my mature aged cat and feel they treated her so carefully and took time to help me understand how to get my kitty better. Will definitely be back for future vet care for my cat.

Dr Sammy and all of the staff are very kind and caring.My cat has suffered with chronic cystitis for about 5 years now, since changing to Melton Family Vets just over 12 months ago our cat has not had a flare up. Dr Sammy started her on a regime of a daily meditation and a monthly injection. To say I’m grateful is an understatement. My beautiful Cleo is much healthier and happier. I highly recommend Melton Family Vets.

An absolutely wonderful group of people working here. They did everything they could to help us and our dog. They cared so truly for our pet it was as if it was their own pet!Truly the best vet you could go to!

I have been to all of Melton's clinics in my 22 years in Melton. Including some who are no longer operating. MFV is as it's name suggets. It is a family that treat you and your babies like family. They do not commercialise my childrens health and wellbeing by trying to add additional un-needed services or products. Most times my children are seen at the appointment time. However, there are times when I am waiting extended periods after my appointment. This is due to unexpected emergencies that require urgent treatment. Although I somewhat inconvenienced, I am comforted to know that if one of my children requires emergency support that they would be prioritised. Sammi, Robbie and the team have an unwavering passion to help all creatures great and small. You are very much appreciated by my family.To address the price reviews. I have been engaged with vets for nearly 40 years. MFV do have a competitive price for services and medications

Poor attitude when I needed a simple prescription, was told we are not a pharmacy and that no other vet would help. My pet urgenlt needed 6 pills just to last for 1.5 days until seen by specialist as recommended by current vet who didnt have enough pills. Person on phone was very rude. I went to another vet who helped us right away.

Thanks once again for all the care and quick response to everyone at Melton Family Vets after Boston needed urgent care today. And for looking after his mum when she was worried and upset. Cannot recommend higher. Will never go anywhere else.
