There is nothing particularly wrong with this place. It is very clean and tidy and the rooms are large. We were here in the week before local holidays started so it was almost empty and very quiet. The layout and decor gives it a nursing home feel. It's close to town and a short drive from Binnalong Bay/Bay of Fires.

Nearly got 5 stars!!Great staff, comfy beds, good pillows, clean large rooms..... unfortunately the carpet needs proper cleaning or replacing, I don't like dirty carpet. The food was quite good, could have been larger serves tho. I enjoyed my stay and would certainly return.

All ground floor units are for our one night stop. We liked everything, bar has a great range drinks and service was good. Bus or bike group seem to get a separate room and possibly a better deal. It was cold and windy the evening we were there and the huge deck area was too cold to enjoy. Will recommend this place to others.

We are quite happy with our accommodation here @ the recent change of name 'Panorama Hotel ' the service had been great and staff friendly. Rooms aren't very soundproof though. Had lunch here it was of top standard. The hotel is handy to town.

The resort has potential but is very outdated. We had no hot water for our stay, so showering was not very pleasant. We paid for a spa room, buy due to insufficient heated water we couldn't use it. The pool area was quite nice, however a bbq area could be a great addition. The deck area was lovely. Our balcony was littered with a broken birds nest and bird droppings which was quite unfortunate. It seems that the hot water issue has been an ongoing issue which is yet to be rectified. The beds were comfortable, linen was clean. Customer service was a slight let down as not very welcoming upon arrival.

Had Christmas lunch in the restaurant. The kitchen did a fantastic job. The food was excellent. Meats cooked to perfection each with accompanying sauce, seafood was generous and fresh. The desert was decant and a great way to finish off a big long lunch. The let down was the wait staff. They were friendly but inefficient, not well trained or well presented. Only some of the tables had tableclothes and I was disappointed that for an expensive Christmas lunch the best they could do was white paper napkins. Big dollars and four stars should deliver more.

Really nice views from the bedrooms and nice staff. The bar is well equipped with an amazing wood fire for the cooler nights and a great wine list featuring some local wines.Unfortunately I felt that the bed was a little dated. The mattress was pretty uncomfortable and the pillows had zero support.A good option close to town but is in need of an update if it’s going to keep up with similar hotels.

Large room was a nice surprise but the garden view was appalling: more like a weed view. The bathroom was also large but with tiny shower. Thewines are well priced. Our greeting at check in was perfunctory and did not make us feel welcome. The same can be said for the rude manager. The outdoor deck area was great for breakfast and pre-dinner drinks. The carpets in tge hallway are badly stained. Overall it is an ok place for a few days if you do not have high expectations.

Great location. Large room with really pretty sea/water view. Lots of insects so keep mesh door closed! Restaurant menu limited but food well cooked. Staff extremely helpful. Decor just a little tired and bed not particularly comfortable - pillows very flat.

Rooms are good and I found my bed very comfortable, a bit of maintenance wouldn't go astray, we couldn't lock our screen doors which we needed to keep open for the fresh air without any air conditioning. Really great views on the river side, gardens are nice but seem untended which is a pity as they would have been beautiful with some TLC. There are a lot of beautiful flowers attracting bees - (so bring your epipen if you're allergic!)
