Sylvan Beach Resort

Nice big rooms. Very dated. No security screens on Windows so we couldn't open a window. I have a 4 year old boy and the screen kept popping out. We are on the 3 floor. No lock on front door ,we had to put chairs at the door to make sure no one just walked in or my son didnt just walk out.No security screen or locks on the balcony door so again cant leave door open while sleeping.Disappointed. We were meant to have a relaxing family weekend but unfortunately its far from that.

The only problem i had with our apartment was the thick dust on all ceiling fans, thick dust along the the sliding cupboards in all bedrooms. Then in the 2nd bathroom was a heap of black hair in the bathroom draw. The broom cupboard had all dirt in it. The cleaner needs to shape up on the cleaning skills. But overall would stay again. The lady on reception was lovely & helpful.

We stayed for two nights (wished we stayed longer)The 2 bedroom unit we stayed in was lovely, very spacious, modern, clean and tidy. Beautiful views of the waterfront. Shay the property Manager was lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely big family units, double rooms have ensuites. Very clean and spacious.Beautiful views from the balcony. Waterfront views or Pool units available.Staff are lovely and friendly. Nothing us a problem and good local knowledge. Charlies Bistro in Tavern next door has great meals with a varied menu.Boat and Kayak hire 70mtr across road. Great staff and awesome location with full facility rooms/units. We had to put new batteries in clocks, remotes dor pretty much everything and xould of been a little cleaner all round inside.

Stayed here on a last minute 2 night break with 2 young kids. Got a great apartment facing the seafront. Friendly staff, very accommodating in getting us a second night. We needed to see that sunset 1 more time!Nice and clean, all in working order, laundry was great to have. Kids even braved the pool (in winter) briefly.Very secure. Individual lock up garage for each apartment was great.

Horrible experience with this property / company. They are severely lacking in customer service. Promised a refund for more than a month and still no money has been returned to me. I've sent multiple emails with no response. I've also called at least 10 times now and spoken to 3 different people with no outcome. The first person was not very interested and promised to get back to me, but never did. I called again and he promised to organise my refund, but never did. The second person took my details down and admitted that the first person should have done that and obviously they couldn't process a refund without my card details. The third person I spoke to processed the refund after a week, but sent the money to the wrong card number. Now I'm having to wait even longer for them to investigate their own mistake. They have also asked for me to provide a copy of my credit card statement, despite knowing that the money was sent to the wrong card number due to their mistake. Personally I think this is extremely unprofessional. Would not recommend dealing with this company.

We staying in Unit 10 top floor large rooms and great amenities First National Bribie Island (07) 3408 1006 manage this Unit and great people to deal with. Love the location will be here for a month or possibly more !!!!

The team at Sylvan Beach Resort are absolute legends we got stuck on bribie during the 2022 floods and we were running out of places to find a warm place to stay and they were able to get 5 guys the last room available, would definitely come back as well in the future
