Fiona Mawson was the first mental health professional to teach me the terms for what I was experiencing and give me the tools to manage it. ( and I’d seen a lot)All the others talked about, sleep, diet, exercise, meditation. It frustrated me so much because I knew that wasn’t what I needed, but I didn’t have the words or understanding to explain what I needed.As soon as I walked into Fiona’s room she knew exactly what I needed and immediately started to teach me.I truly believe that it was because of her helping me to understand what was happening and why and myself using that knowledge and expanding on it after I completed my sessions that I have been able to heal and completely changed my quality of life for the better.It took time and hard work on my behalf. After 20 years of begging health and mental health professionals for help and getting no where, I truly feel Fiona changed my life.
