Favorite winery in the world, these guys deliver on all levels. If you’re visiting the hunter make sure you go to Pepper Tree first, even if it’s the only stop it’s the only one that matters. It’s a beautiful setting, the garden grounds, the inside wine tasting area, there’s a fire place for colder days and spots to sit outside on sunny days. The staff are all incredible, super friendly and it’s apparent that they love what they do and make sure you have the best experience possible. Dave and Shaz are absolute legends, it’s the best wine tasting experience I’ve had. This was my third time visiting Pepper tree and I’ll be sure not to miss it anytime I’m visiting the Hunter. If you’re lucky you might see one of their dogs living their best life around the grounds. If you want good vibes and to leave feeling happier than you were when you came in (and not just from tasting their delicious wines) this is the place to go!

Beautiful wines, worth the more expensive tasting fee compared to other wineries. We came just before noon on a Monday, nobody was in but us. We let them know the kinds of wines we like and were shown some really lovely varieties. A huge selection of wines! Definitely come and try some wines.

Lovely winery. Dave gave us the tasting. Was very knowledgeable. Learnt a lot about the different wines. Was our favourite spot on our trip. Bought a bottle of their Verdelho. The team are so lovely and looks like a great fun place to work also. Thanks for a fabulous experience.

Nice busy place, awesome vibe, cosy atmosphere. The staff is brilliant, knowledgeable and caring. The place is clean and tidy. The area is kept very well, lots of flowers, trimmed grass, and a lovely forest. Good choice for dates and celebrating. And their wine is great!

Dave and the crew here made our wine tasting a fantastic experience. Casual, very well informed, and generous within a cosy natural feeling setting. Even with 8 of us it felt very personal. Great afternoon, thanks Pepper Tree team!

What an enjoyable experience we had today Wine tasting. Dave was our host. Great guy, very knowledgeable and professional. Dave went above and beyond to make our day one to remember. Can not speak highly enough of him. The winery is a beautiful place, very relaxing. Took home some bottles to enjoy. We will definitely be coming back. Very enjoyable experience.
