Light's Vision
We can have a wide view at Light's Vision, just as Colonel Light looked down on the Adelaide plain nearly 200 years ago. Full of respect!It's not too big. We can have a short leisure and sightseeing here. In front of it is a wide sloping lawn, not far away is Adelaide oval, and in the distance is sweeping views of the park lands and the city. St Peter's Cathedral is nearby.

If you are looking for history with a nice overview of Adelaide and some peaceful parkland then this is the location. We were given information on a tour about Colonel Light and his background which gave this location more significance.

There are only new buildings visible from the lookout and a bit of the hills.It is still a pleasant place with a sense of space and history.

Beautiful monument, surrounded by large lawns. Would have been a great view of the city once upon a time, but nowadays the Oval obstructs the view.
