Was a bit worried when Morgan decided to cut my thick curly hair wet as opposed to dry cut I'm used to. I left the salon very happy! Morgan asked me bunch of questions to understand if I leave my hair curly or straight etc. Morgan definitely knows what she was doing and excellent at it too. She managed to bring beautiful shape to my hair. She was clear on how much she will take off, to get rid of my dry colored hair ends. My hair feels so much lighter & surprisingly not short but she added heaps of layers and shape to it ! I love it ! I got so many compliments on my hair since. My husband plans to get his curly hair cut here. Also recommended them to my manager ! Been living in the area for so long, shame it took me 2 years to discover this gem right at my door step ! Cheaper than most places I have been to and they offer Afterpay option too!! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved my experience here with Vicky. Came in for my first curly cut, learnt so much!! There is so much I needed to know to improve and hydrate my curls.On top of this, they use and sell cruelty free and vegan products! They even reuse bottles by having you bring yours back into the store for a refill to promote sustainability.Yes, I did have to book months in advance, but I can understand why they're so popular!If you want an educational, comfortable, non-judgemental experience with your hair - go here!! Morgan cut my hair today, and gave me some great advice about caring for it. She advised within the limitations of what I'm prepared to do, and didn't push me to buy any products. In fact she advised meet to wait and see whether my scalp reacted to anything first. I'm still getting used to the cut, but think I'm going to really enjoy it.

I don’t enjoy going to the hairdresser. I’ve had a lot of negative experiences in the past. I found that most hairdressers don’t really understand what my hair needs and have had hurtful comments made about my hair.I went in not knowing what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised with my first curly cut. Vicky was professional and non-judgemental. She provided lots of tips and tricks which was really helpful. I love my cut and will definitely be back.

Went to Juniper for the first time on the weekend to have my shoulder-length curly hair cut back to a super short pixie. Nicole was amazing - my cut is exactly what I wanted, and it's so nice to find a hairdresser who is actually excited about cutting curls! So glad to have found such a great salon so close to home :)

Went here specifically for a curly hair cut. The cut was very expensive/over priced and so very ordinary- a complete waste of money. I could have gotten a hair cut like that for $30 somewhere else. The hair at the end was only slightly wavy when normally it can get really curly with the right cut and care. And since then, my curls have been really bad and it has grown out terribly. Very disappointed

The absolute best salon I will never go anywhere else! I came in a few years ago with completely ruined hair and today finally have the confidence to go out without extensions! Nicole has completely saved me colour wise and I finally have my healthy hair back

Really disappointed as I had taken my daughter here for a curly girl haircut. Went back to book another appointment. Was told they wouldn’t cut her hair as she is a teenager that is under 16 (even though we have been here before)

Nestled quietly in the heart of the Patterson shops is this delightfully quirky vintage salon that boasts the decor alongside a team of absolute experts in haircare and styling!It should be said that I’m one of the more “challenging” clients to work with as I boast both a tedious mane of tendrils alongside complete and utter ignorance: I tend more to indicate what I would like through excessive hand gestures and question marks than provide any actual insight! Amy - my hairdresser- was in fact fluent in this vague language of nonsense and ideas, however, and she absolutely did the most incredibly thorough and all round amazing result... as I left last night I felt lighter and am still catching glimpses of my new do at all angles and loving it all the more! If you’re a local and haven’t popped your head (of hair) in to make a query/appointment I would absolutely recommend that you do so! Thanks to all at juniper!
