Just wanted to say thank you Katherine. You were very kind and wonderful during the blood drawing process.

My wife's experience this morning in this lab wasn't really nice. At first, she just wanted to confirm with the pathologist if it's alright to do blood test with menstruation, but the guy answered in a not so welcoming way. Next, he didn't even sanitise the skin with disinfectant before taking the blood. We don't remember not having that skin cleaned before being sticked with a needle. Not sure if that's their SOP. Lastly but certainly not the least, after finishing the procedure, one lady came in and told my wife told her to wait. The first reaction of my wife was to go out and to the waiting area. She was stopped by the lady and told her to wait inside but only to be laughed at by the guy pathologist. My wife was shocked and couldn't react at what happened so I came back to them after she realised and told me in the car. When I asked them their excuse was they were talking about something else when clearly they were not. There's nothing funny too if they were misunderstood because they're talking with their masks on and the fact was that my wife was having pain on her knees and couldn't focus.

I usually get nervous at blood test collections because of previous experiences. But here it was quick and efficient. The staff were so kind. Had a 2 hour test to do but time quickly went by and I was given water regularly and checked up on to make sure I was feeling ok.

Have always gone here and found them very nice,friendly and efficient.

I struggled to find a pathologist in the area with ok reviews so tried this one. I found their phone and face to face manner really lovely. And watching them interact with everyone that came in, they were so friendly and professional. Not the fanciest offices in the world, but I found this a great experience and I was there for 2 hours

Tracey in the Sunshine collection centre is awesome. I have tricky veins and she almost always gets blood first time. She’s polite and bubbly, always a pleasure to see her :)

*** A word of warning to patients who are obtaining their pre-departure COVID Travel Tests for International Travel ***I attended this site on the morning of 14th April 2022 to do a COVID-19 PCR test (just under 48 hours before my departure for an international flight). The test went as expected and I asked the nurse when the results would be available and they stated that they usually provide them in a few hours and the latest would be by the end of the day.Fast forward 24 hours and I had not received my results. Concerned, I attempted to contacted the clinic where they did not pick up my phone call. After numerous attempts, I decided to call their COVID Overseas Travel Testing Call Centre (stated on their website) where I spoke to a member of staff and they proceeded to find out what was going on.After being put on hold for about 20 minutes, they had informed me that the clinic had lost/misplaced my sample!Fortunately the staff offered me a full refund and offered to do an express PCR test however I had to travel to Clayton (which is out of the way for me) where they did the test and I got the results in under 2 hours. I will be reviewing the Clayton Collection Site separately.My major concern was that I was not informed at all about my missing/lost sample and if I had not followed up in a timely matter to obtain my PCR test results, I would not have been able to board my flight.There are alternative options at the airport for those who are wondering but from my observations, it can be risky due to the amount of people who are doing it as well.
