Proz-At Tiling and Bathroom Renovations

Earlier this year we employed Bjorne and his team at Proz-At Tiling to completely renovate two bathrooms in our house. We were more than happy with every aspect of the finished job, from meticulous tiling, to the plumbing and placing of fixtures. Bjorne coordinated and informed us every day of the tradespeople involved and expected time of arrival. At the end of each day all waste was removed and everything was tidied up. All of this at a very competitive price! Highly recommended!!

I found Bjorn and his team very professional and polite. At the end of each day the site was tidied and rubbish removed from the house.Bjorn was in contact each evening so I knew what tradie and time they would be working the following day. Any questions l had were answered quickly and l was kept up to date with any price changes due to additional renovation changes l made throughout the job.Each team member definitely knew their trade and Graham (site manager?) certainly made sure everything was completed to a high standard.We received 3 quotes for our renovations, Bjorn was not the cheapest, however he presented as the most professional and we have no regrets in engaging this firm. We are very happy with the finished work.

We had our bathroom remodel they did a brilliant job even when we found termites had eaten the bottom timber plate it only took they back a couple of days, we are very pleased with the finish.

I was disappointed by my experience with Proz-at tiling. I am $160 out of pocket and I had to spend several hours undoing what Bjorn has done because he chose the wrong product or method.EDIT: Bjorn provided an estimate of $600 to tile 2x5 m porch, in 2018. Upon inspecting he provided a verbal quote of $650, adding $50 for some screeding near an expansion joint. Same day he took a $160 deposit and laid some screeding.Next time he visited was to lay the tiles. I was not home, as we agreed I would not be needed. Bjorn realised the porch was a few cm out of square, which he did not check when providing the verbal quote.EDIT: Instead of cutting three extra tiles to fit the shape of the porch Bjorn tried to call me, but I was on a plane. My partner and child were home and could hear Bjorn outside. If Bjorn tried to use the bell it must have failed to ring, but he *did not knock*... instead he walked away from the job.Later on the phone he accused me wasting his time". When I said I still wanted the tiling he said the porch is not square. When I asked about the deposit he said he has "laid some screed"

When reading my review and reading the response please note this is not how things happened.This is a true reflection of this bussiness not taking responsibility. I called Beumont tiles and they confirmed they had not had contact with this company and could deliver my order to me to be used . There was never an offer from Prozat to deliver my selection. I'm only asking for $1,000 to be refunded due to this company not honouring their contract. I have emails to back up my claim. There are so many other reputable bussiness out there that can commit to a date and deliver.Extremely disappointed and now out of pocket $1000 and bathrooms not completed. Paid $1,000 in March this year. Was told my bathrooms would start in October. No correspondence to tell me they were delayed. I was promised the jobs would be completed by Jan 1st 2023 for an important event. I madecontact at the end of October to be told they were having internal issues they were trying to rectify. I was then told the job would not happen until sometime next year. I asked what month. They said they don't know just sometime next year. I said how unhappy I was but they didn't care. I contacted another company who where efficient cheaper and gave me some excellent advice. Are able to start the job within 2 months. I contacted proz at to ask for a refund of my deposit due to the messing around and not committing to a date. They have refused. I'm extremely upset. Unfortunately I recommended them to a friend of mine and never again. Off to the Ombudsman I go.

Here are my top 3. #3 Reliability-They showed up when they said they are going to show up. #2 Communication-They kept me updated every day about what was going on at each stage of the reno. #1 Skill- The team did an amazing job, with great attention to quality & detail. I LOVE my new bathroom.

Bjorne was brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Guys and girls if you're thinking about a bathroom renovation in Adelaide, or the northern suburbs, you've got to give Bjorne and his team of expert tilers a call. A brilliant communicator. If he was ever unable to come at a time he said, he would let us know. Meticulous with his tiling, and my new bathroom looks AMAZING. The attention to detail, and brilliant communication throughout ensured the project went smoothly. Thanks so much.

We have use them twice now. Once for a feature wall behind a fire place and another for our kitchen splash backs. I am extremely particular and was very happy to find that so was Bjorn! Everything was carefully explained, thought out and then installed.My only minor concern was an older gentleman (not Bjorn) did the grouting and I wasn't happy with his finish. He didn't remove the clip on GPO covers to finish neatly behind them, resulting 3 hours of me cleaning the grout from the covers and even from inside the sockets themselves.
