Young Budget Accommodation

Shame on you! Didn’t refund the bond of 40 persons.The place is very dirty. And the receptionist menace you to kick you out if you didn’t come back before 11pm at home.Lots of insects on the ground and bad smell.I didn’t recommend this place at all guys.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is without a doubt the worst accomodation we have ever stayed in. Filthy, moldy and disgusting. No kitchen equipment at all, you have to provide your own pots and cutlery, toilet roll always run out and hardly replaced. Do not trust the manager, Joy, she is a liar and will kick you out without any valid reason, she told us we had to leave by 10am the next morning without any decent notice. Knocked on people's doors at 10pm telling them they have to move to opposite building (with no toilets or running water) straight away as she has made more bookings despite being full. But she lets other people stay that are constantly drunk and smoking in the toilets.Bathrooms and toilets never cleaned, sanitary products overflowing everywhere, and owner literally told us he refuses to pay for another cleaner even though there was over 100 people staying there, only 1 cleaner (if you can even call Joy that!) When we first arrived Joy called a meeting and threatened us all saying that she was going to physically fight us and even brings her son into the hostel as backup, trying to frighten you into obeying her ridiculous rules. 0/10 not a vibe

Black mold everywhery. dirty the cleaner/supervisor will scam you at any givin opportunity will try to intimidate you then kick i out if she can’t

Tramp hotel. Not even secure, me and my friends were accused of theft and beaten up by another resident of the hotel. Dirty hotel, very little cleaning. Heating only in the rooms, a horror for showering, cooking and eating in the cold. Add to that the fact that the owner is a thief. Be careful with your bonds, she'll find any excuse not to return them.

This place is horrendous !150 per week per person for what ?The hostel was packed at the time I stayed there and yet:- there was no kitchen ustensile/cutlery- cleaning wasn’t done at all in the bedrooms- “cleaning” in the common areas was done maybe 4 times in 2 months and it wasn’t even done properly- no dishwashing liquid in the kitchen- no soap in the toilets- showers are mouldy and the paint is falling apart- dust everywhereBasically this building needs to be renovated and the management needs to do their job.Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT STAY THERE.

Stayed here for 5 weeks while picking and loved it. Its budget accommodation so what do you expect, yes its run down and mismanaged but its a bloody good time, you'll meet interesting people, and its the cheapest stay in young. If you cant handle some carpet stains, a few rough edges and shared living why are you even in young ??

Worst hostel I ever been in Australia. No Soap no dishes, need to ask for toilet paper, bathroom and toilet have been cleaned only 4 times in 2 months. The manager Joy doesn't do her job because it's to hard for her ".Avoid it !"

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE. Stayed here with cherry picking team. Manager Joy threatened to fight us if we didn't comply with with her ridiculous rules including going to bed by 9:30pm. No plates, cutlery, pots, pans, dish soap or hand soap is provided and Joy says your rent does not include these things. Filthy 'hostel' is rarely cleaned. Toilets and showers are full of mould and cobwebs. Toilets full of rubbish, empty toilet rolls, overflowing sanitary bins not emptied for weeks. Not to mention the groups smoking in the toilets or the bogan long termers that stay there. Joy regularly evicted people with little notice or moved people into adjacent building (without toilets, showers, running water, wifi and with airbeds in dorms) purely because she had made more bookings depsite already being fully booked, you're booking means nothing here! Joy is two faced and a liar and will do anything she can to cheat you out of your bond. You have been warned!

Found staff members fine never had any problem. Place is not in good shape very rough. George the owner is a chancer will try anything and everything not to refund deposit
