Always a great day out. Exercise, animals, seal and bird shows and the best views of Sydney. The staff are lovely and many food places, picnic areas and toilets.

Beautiful place; large variety of animals and food outlets; A great place to spend ur entire day with family and friends. Prams/strollers are provided for $15 or you can bring ur own. Washrooms are neat and tidy. Sky safari available for additional cost. Just bring ur sunscreen and umbrella depending on the weather

Lovely place that you can get close to animals and enjoy best view of the habour. They have Australian local animals and some other specials. Not very large park but good enough to spend half day here.Very easy to access by bus and ferry. However the ticket is $49pp that is a bit expensive.

A magical place with abundant fauna from Australia & around the world. Extremely well thought out tours are available & the zoo authorities are extremely helpful with any query. A must visit!

Really great zoo. If you’re in Sydney I highly recommend visiting. Take the cable car (gondola) for incredible views of the city.

The Roar and Snore experience is fantastic. We had the opportunity to meet a few of the species and talk to their carers. You go on a nocturnal walk and an early walk when the park is still not open to day visitors. You learn a lot about the animals, the conservation efforts and all programs Taronga Zoo runs to educate on and protect wildlife. The guides are very knowledgeable and entertaining, you can feel they are really passionate about their work. You get the experience of waking up to an environment full of animals and listen to their sounds what is a quite unique experience.

Went there for Vivid in 2022. I was impressed though the food can be overpriced (though it was nice enough).

bit hit and miss. some exhibits closed but only found out when walked of main path to viewing area to find two signs stating elephants in lower enclosure. avoidable wasted steps for those like myself who are infirm. no penguins did I see, seen signs but alas 0. flying squirrels another wasted walk as enclosure deserted. on a plus the Sumatran Tigers are a tip top how it should be done Zoo feature. The Seal, Sealion display is also a must see. so please Taronga Zoo sort the signage and save the less able the extra distance.
