Choco Cannelle Ryde

One of my favourite French bakeries which I've been a customer on and off for the past 15 years. Definitely a hidden gem in Ryde and an unsung hero. Make sure to get there early as their patries were sold out within an hour or two at times...Love love love the almond croissants and palmier. Recommended this place to a number of friends and will continue to do so! Must try!

Ordered a delicious lemon tart for a birthday party, it was very presentable and a crowd pleaser. Wish I got a larger size. Unfortunately didn't get a picture in time. The owner is very friendly and provided good customer service. The croissant has a crispy layer, it's delicious. Feel fortunate to have such a high quality bakery in the suburbs.

Such an amazing French bakery. Their chocolate ganache tart is the best chocolate tart I've ever had. It's rich with just the right amount of sweetness. And their fraisier cake (pictured) is divine. It's a little on the pricier side but you can see and taste why that is. All the elements are perfectly balanced. I've tried a lot of their pastries too and they don't disappoint! Get in early though, they sell out really fast.

Exceptional pastry and very friendly staff. Lunettes and almond croissant are my pick. I am glad to be living close by. Get in early to get your fill. They are a small business so when they are gone they are gone.

A pure definition of an artisan bakery!Produced in small quantities and with an actual French baker, it makes you feel like you were in provincial part of France (this part of north ryde is pretty quiet)Beautiful pastries and will definitely come back for more.

I discovered this little shop , when I was looking for a particular French dessert.. Lucky for me Jean Francois made it fresh and I picked up as promised … it is a great little French patisserie shop… just be warned when looking for it, blink and you may miss it and OH MY GOD, you will not be disappointed… everything you see is made on that day and I love all that is on display..Please Jean Francois, keep doing what you doing , you are a Godsend to people that love great tasting delicate desserts…I will drive all that distance just to sample what is on offer on any day …Thanks again for that sublime experience whenever I purchase those French desserts

This local shop is the go to place for special treats. The handmade pastries are fresh, moist and absolutely delicious, and the smell is extremely tempting and has the distinctive sweet buttery scent and taste. What they have on offer is nothing like what you get in the cafes and bakeries. I will definitely try my best to find room to try their cakes too next time.

This guy is a true master. Jean François Pithivier is most delicious pastry that has ever passed my lips. There is good French pastry, then there is Choco Cannelle on another level completely. Get there early, I was there at 9:30am and they had already sold out of some things.

Everything at Choco Canelle is delicious. Love the pear tart, lemon meringue, chocolate tart, croissants and cheese twists especially. Note that it's currently closed (I assume the owner is away), reopening 25th August 2022.
