It's worth the short walk from the Sawpit Picnic Area / Campground (free!) to check out where the traditional owners used to spot beached whales on the shore. The sculpture is interesting and references the local communities of the area and there is an information sign as well. Peaceful and secluded, the walk to the lookout is a must do when staying overnight at the campgrounds, or stopping by the picnic area. You'll spot a few kangaroos and wallabies if you're lucky. There is also a mountain bike track nearby which looks well maintained.
