ALERT - THE OWNER IS A RACIST‼️ Not to mention how smelly and unclean the room and towel are, how noisy the area gets at night, the owner Jeff took it to the next level. Our room was out of power for two consecutive nights, leaving us in complete darkness. There was no reception after 6 pm, so we had to leave a message to the after-hour service team following the instruction. Jeff, whom we later found out was the owner of the hotel, called us back, and the first thing he said was that our English was too hard to understand. We migrated to Australia when we were kids and can speak perfect English. Just from our name in the message, Jeff assumed that we were Asian and could not speak English. He was being disrespectful over the phone and called us arrogant. When we responded to his rudeness, he threatened to hang up, saying, do you want my help or not."A simple google search would show that Jeff is notoriously rude to his customers. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from any hotels he manages."

A beautiful boutique-like hotel in the centre. Walking distances to almost anywhere. Modern room and bathroom both very clean. Cleaned and new towels and amendities daily. Parking is available behind the hotel for 10 dollar per 24 hours. Room has a Nespresso coffee machine including cups, a Samsung smart TV, fan and A/C, a rainshower and the bed and two pillows were perfect. We also found complimentairy water bottles on arrival in the fridge as well as classic music playing when you enter the room. What i was missing:No desk to sit or work on (standard room)No vending machine seenNo plateau inside the shower to put your stuff onNo daily new water bottlesNo free or hotel paid parkingThe rooms on the side of the hotel room 111 and above will probably experience more sound of the street. No (free) brekkie, although there is plenty of choice in the streetOur WiFi hasn't worked for a single second, it was passed on to the IT-guy and should have been fixed but it was still not working which is very much a surprise for a hotel that is this nice. I find it hard to believe that we are the only one experiencing this problem.

The room was okey. Not what I expected though. Honestly I think the price its to much for what they offer.Good feedback;Bed was really comfortable and the jacuzzi was really nice. The two top things about the room. The sheets had marks everywhere and the toilet had to be more clean.Balcony faces to a parking park and in the night you can hear the music from the clubs. So if you want to rest not the best place.Service was really bad, receptionist was rude and didn’t have any skills for work in tourism. She made us feel really unconfotable. I cant remember her name but was blond and short hair.I wouldn’t chose it again as a option for spend a romantic night.

This hotel is likely to polarise people's opinions. It's right in the heart of the resort and as such is noisy at night. The noise did stop by 11 p.m. it's really handy for the the swimming pools and beach facilities. The rooms are incredibly tiny but the corridors are very wide.. a bit of a bizarre planning idea. You have to pay to leave your car overnight on the car park. If you are planning to use the hotel as a stopover for the Whitsundays then there are much better hotels down by the marina. If I was 18-20 then this place would be in an ideal position for bars and nightlife.

Stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are modern and well appointed. Has a very ‘boutique’ feel. But… the rooms are quite small, it’s as if the developer wanted to squeeze as many rooms as possible onto the site. It’s well located in the centre of Airlie Beach, close to shops, cafes, supermarket, the lagoon and beach. There is no on-site parking, there is public parking behind the hotel and costs $10 for 24 hrs. Unlikely you’ll even need to use your car. This area is full of clubs and live music venues that run late into the night. The hotel thankfully has double-glazed windows and balcony doors. One half of the hotel overlooks the beach and car park the other half overlooks the main street .I would stay again based on the location and wonderful double-glazing.

Rooms are SUPER small. If I had a cat with me I would not have been able to swing it.I'm not kidding.I was told I'd get a village view, I got a creek view.

This hotel is right in the heart of the town. It has very small rooms and very wide corridors. It's in a noisy area of town and having spent 5 weeks in Australia I disliked this hotel the most. It's handy for the seafront and pools but it does not have it's own car park and you have to use the public pay carpark adjacent to the hotel. If you are using it for a Hamilton island stopover there are better hotels near the port.

I personally give it a 5 star. My wife gave it a 4 star. I liked it a lot. Mostly comfortable. To me it’s the nicest place in Airlie. I found the pillows a little uncomfortable on my neck. My partner loved it her only complaint was she said the cleaning felt a little inconsistent. One day bins didn’t get emptied etc. or the blinds felt dusty. But overall I would recommend. I mean it’s close to everything, what more could you want?

The Heart Hotel is, without a doubt, the WORST hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed for 3 nights and did not get a single night of good sleep. The room has no sound isolation at all. Loud heavy music from the surrounding bars would run late into the night and sound like it comes from the room next to you. We were awakened by the loud drunk partygoers at 2 am and then by garbage trucks at 4 am, despite staying on the 2nd floor. The reception gets off work at 6 pm. The room is tiny, even smaller than the less expensive hotels I stayed in Japan or Hongkong. The water pressure is non-existent in the shower. The towers are not fresh either. How the hotel is rated 5-star is beyond me.

Filthy and over priced. The room is incredibly small and the toilet is a few feet from the bed. It's impossible to have any privacy in the bathroom. The ledge serving as a balcony is just a joke. Ours has not been cleaned for years. There were toenail clippings, mold and broken glass on surfaces. The only thing going for the place is the location as long as you don't mind overlooking a council car park. What a rip off.
