If you would like your child to learn dance in a safe environment then this is the dance school for you. JGDC provides children the opportunity to not just learn dance but to learn life skills such as resilience, patience and manners. The staff are informative and nutruring and fair. Information is sent out to families so that we are aware of what is going on and we have adequate time to prepare for major events such as exams and concerts. Fees are affordable and fair. When in the club" (for younger children) the concerts are short and children do NOT wear makeup! Perfect for young children who do not need backstage and are beautiful enough to not warrant make up."

DanceArts is a safe place with a positive outlook for my children. This is a place where my children not only learn multiple dance styles, but also values and commitment that translates into everyday life, which can only benefit them as the get older.DanceArts provides a family friendly dance school where they pride themselves on and deliver comprehensive and regular information via both email and secure social media platforms. As a busy mum, this helps me stay on track with due dates or performance dates etc.The performances are tailored to the age brackets of the children, seeing the younger children perform in a more relaxed day time format where as the older children get the exciting experience of a theatre style performance. From my experience this helps grow and develop the children’s confidence as they progress through the years.I love that they are affordable, they provide costumes that require no sewing and they ensure that school holidays and public holidays are family time by having no classes scheduled.I love DanceArts and highly recommend it!

DanceArts is a friendly welcoming studio. Dancers of all ages and abilities are welcomed and nurtured. The studio has made a point of providing a safe nurturing environment for all students. One of very few studios that ensure all staff have working with police checks, ensuring the safety of the kids. Parents are kept informed of upcoming events and news via weekly newsletters, and closed Facebook groups. The concerts and costuming are age appropriate, where professional recordings of concerts are offered, (which limits the posting of others children on social media), and parents can enjoy watching their children on stage, and still have a memento of the event. There are opt out options for those who may not be ready for concert, which alleviates the anxiety for these kids. This is one of very few places where all dancers are given a chance to be front and centre" so everyone gets a chance to shine. A real family environment suitable for all. I have seen many dance studios and would not hesitate in sending my kids to this studio above all others."

Very toxic environment, teachers and parents are very unwelcoming and two-faced. Choreography is repetitive and below average. Great for young children but anywhere from 9 up, terrible. I was treated terribly as dance teachers had their favorites and practically cast out the students who were not with them from the age of five.There wasn't one lesson where I wasn't wishing for the lesson to end five minutes in.

Joined DanceArts at the end of last year with little confidence and no dance experience. Not only have my dance skills increased, and my confidence boosted incredibly, but I now feel like I have a second family. The teachers and students are amazing and welcome anyone and everyone no matter what. + the choreography the teachers spend so much time creating are amazing.

The community at DanceArts is amazing. The teachers are constantly so supportive and encouraging, and they are equally accommodating for all ages. Not only have I learned how to dance but I've also learned skills for my everyday life. I could not have asked for a better dance environment as a kid or as a teenager.

My daughters’ journey at DanceArts started 10 years ago at the age of 4 when she discovered a love for music and movement. I was looking for a studio that focus not only on great technic and safe dance practice but also on fun and friendships. DanceArts have been very supportive to not only the growth and skills in dancing but the mental and emotional growth of my now teenage daughter. The environment supports children to build friendships through inclusiveness and offers many opportunities for relationship building with both friends and the team members. It is always a fun and safe space to walk into. My daughter can walk into dance carrying the stress of the day and walk out happy and relaxed. I would and have recommended DanceArts. We cannot thank Miss Jane and her amazing team enough for being such a wonderfully positive part of our daughters dancing life, thank you ☺️

Don't really recommend this place. Students are taught behind closed doors and as a parent, really have no idea of what's going on. They have parents day once a term to show what the kids have learnt but I want to see weekly progress. Performances are paid and can't take videos or photos due to copyright - fair enough - but have zero/none photos to show for it and prosperity. This business is all about money. They are expensive and have poor communication. Look elsewhere if you want a good dance school. Gave 2 stars because they were ok to start with when we had adult" teachers but then "younger / students" took over it was terrible."

The service of this place is atrocious particularly with bullying issues throughout the studio. The level of work done around the all classes is despicable. My poor daughter had to leave this place as it gave her counseling issues. The prices made us go broke already with our financial problems. I would not recommend this to anyone, there are many dance studios in the area with cheaper taxes and better training. Our daughter will start next term after her reckless counseling issues

I have gone to this studio for nearly 7 years and I truly believe I could not have made a better decision. Throughout these years I have made connections that I will keep with me forever, friends that i will know for the rest of my life and teacher that I will always love. Dance Arts has allowed me to become a more confident version of my self as I am able to be myself without fear of judgment. I can not image my life without this studio it contains some of the best memories that I will keep with me forever and some of the best friends that I will ever have.
