East Coast Car Rentals - Launceston Airport Car Hire

I chose East Coast for this trip to Tasmania as I had used them 3 times previously in Queensland and each time was was a simple and easy process. We got a near new car which was great. Their staff with both booking over the phone and collecting car in person were very helpful and courteous. I've never had an issue when returning the cars which gives me piece of mind. I would definitely recommend East Coast and will be using them for my future holidays.

It was a very pleasant experience. We were picked up by the bus from airport and taken to east coast car rentals where we were given upgraded car with only little bit extra to pay.The car was great and staff were friendly.

East Coast Car Rentals at Launceston Airport are the best. Our flight from Adelaide arrived late due to hold up in Melbourne. The plane arrived just before 5, and they were closing up for the day, but they called us and I explained I was traveling with a senior person. They came and picked us up, upgraded our car and this was all done after hours! We are very thankful for their service.

Had a great experience with East Coast Car Rentals at Launceston Airport.They are located just a few minutes from the airport and offer a free shuttle service (2 minutes drive only).Pick up was easy and well organised. Great how they use an iPad, it has all photos from the car and any damages / scratches are already marked on the photos.You sign the contract on the iPad and get a copy straight into your inbox via email with all documents and photos attached.The car we got (Hyundai i30) was also great and reliable. It had Apple Car Play and Android as well. Connected the iPhone via Bluetooth to use GPS, music services and to make calls. No issues with the car while travelling around Tasmania.Returning the car was the same process as pickup. They took photos again and I received an email with a copy of contract and photos. Very convenient and efficient. Good value for money. Love it!I had insurance through my credit card and didn’t get extra insurance but they offer if you need some.

We have used East Coast Rentals a couple of times now and wouldn’t use anyone else when traveling. The customer service was terrific, friendly and professional. Their vehicles are clean and well maintained and their pricing was half the price of their competitors. I would highly recommend this company.

I am thankful for great service by East coast rentals Launceston and Hobart branch in Tasmania. Recently, I hired the car with this company for 10 days and was amazed with the perfect service they provided beginning from taking the car, beyond expectation customer support during the flat tyre incident and till returning the car. You guys contributed a lot to make our trip memorable and easy. And I wish to call out Hafiz (@Launceston) branch for his exceptional service. Mate, truly you deserve a big kudos and set an example for exemplary customer service standards.

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the phone holder they provided me with. The car's performance was superb. It was very clean and tidy when we got it. The customer service was very good. The guys did their best to provide us with what we wanted. The only downside was the phone holder we hired from them. It was coming off repeatedly. We had one of the guys install it for us, but it still came off several times, once in a 110 zone, and scared the s**t out of me!!! Additionally, the rubber part that holds the phone in place was broken too. So it was quite a hassle. The company should look into investing in proper phone holders if they want to offer them for rent.Tldr: Excellent customer service, superb car performance, just don't rent the phone holders. Company needs better holders.

I can't recommend highly enough East Coast Car Rentals in Western Junction (Launceston) The cars were new, clean with a nice selection to choose from. Staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. And, best of all the price was cheaper than other companies.A BIG shout out to Hafiz who was absolutely fantastic..I loved driving the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐CheersJo

Hiring the car from East Coast Car Rental was a such a smooth experience. We hired an SUV for a 5 days Tasmania road trip and it was amazing. Especially Hazif was generously kind, informative and helpful. He made our car renting experience great.
