My family dropped in today, Australia Day, In response to a welcoming sign outside. The children had not only their first bowl but more importantly their first Pie Floater". Many thanks to Jan for the wonderful welcome and for going above & beyond to deliver our raffle prize - the world's largest crayfish - to our caravan park abode. Surely one of the treasures of Australian bowling clubs. An undoubted highlight of our tour of SA. Again

Tried to contact by phone 3 times re social bowls. No answer no message bank. Dropped into club but no information on the wall. Sad but that's life.

The grounds look nice, but there are no clear records to be found of regular open hours, either on their website or their Google page, or on the walls / doors of the buildings. Seems maybe they're open some evenings after 5, but hard to tell. Surely in the holiday season they could be busy during the day, but perhaps they don't want to encourage the out of town riff-raff from trashing the turf, who knows. Shame, would have been nice to have a bowl.
